Sun, Beach, Pool, and more...Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: We loved the location, secure property, nice quiet rooms and service.
Cons: Some of the property was a bit out dated and needed some paint and/or updates.
Location: Close to Mission and Ocean beach, Sea World. Easy drive or bus ride to Gas Lamp District, Old Town and La Jolla.
My partner and I traveled to San Diego for vacation. The Bahia Resort was a great place to stay. We had a garden view room with visits from ducks each morning, sun, palm trees and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were very clean, quiet and roomy. We were walking distant to the beaches, great pool and hot tub and very friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay at the Bahia again.

This is a fabulous hotel close to beaches, restaurants, shopping & Seaworld. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the bay and it was perfect! We'll be back!

Great location and reasonable rates.Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location, wifi, parking, cleanliness...
Cons: More plug ins. In today's day and age, it would be nice to have some convenient plugs for our devices. Add a power bar to the nightstands/tv stand.
Location: Running/biking trails around the bay and along the ocean. Restaurants. Starbucks 500-600 meter walk. Bike rentals. Convenient road network access.
Being our first visit to San Diego, we didn't have an understanding of the lay of the land, the sites, and the proximity to everything. While we have heard that travelling about the San Diego area is convenient using the train and bus system, we opted for an affordable car rental (mini van) at the airport. The included parking space at the Bahia was so convenient, whether we were using the vehicle or not, we always had a parking space to put it. Parking in and around San Diego, in some areas, can be difficult to find, but we always seemed to find something nearby. The proximity of the Bahia to the ocean walk, and it's associated businesses, namely restaurants, and bike shops, etc. was extremely convenient. Being on the more northern end of San Diego, the proximity to La Jolla and the north was convenient as well. The trails around the Mission Bay park were great for running and biking too. Overall, the residence was well appointed, well maintained, and in close proximity to many tourist attractions and interests. We loved it.

Love how it's a centralized hotel all if missionPosted Apr 22, 2015
It was good the staff was very helpful and happy to be there ! They set the tone to how your experience will be. I love how this hotel is centralized to all MissionBay ! Didn't love the single laundromat there should be more availability so that way more that once person can do laundry. Loved the mocie showing late night pool.

Great location with updated rooms.Posted Apr 20, 2015
Very friendly staff throughout. Superb location. Rooms and facilities spotless and updated. I booked a basic room and was upgraded to an executive suite overlooking Mission Bay. Wow! Stopped a couple of times in the quaint Tangier Bar; again, staff were excellent.

I paid for a room with a water view. I barely could see the water through the shrubs, trees, and cars.
