Never againPosted Feb 25, 2014
They advertises both a pool, and breakfast, but had neither. The toilet leaked, internet was intermittent and extremely slow. Bedding was worn almost to nothing. I was very dissatisfied

Affordable and worth it!Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Everything, especially the price and free breakfast.
Cons: People were smoking and it's said to be considered a non smoking hotel.
Location: Just 15 minutes to San Diego State University and other commutable attractions.
The room was clean and the free breakfast was yummy! The balcony added a great touch to it although the view of the freeway and sewer wasn't the best, it was worth our stay. We will be going to this motel every month!

Good value for the moneyPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Location and breakfast
Location: The hotel is in El Cajon, a good distance from any of San Diego's attractions. We stayed there because of proximity to family, and for sightseeing.
This hotel could use a bit of updating. The bed wasn't terribly comfortable, and it was so "bouncy" that whenever either my husband or I moved, we awakened the other person. We had a room with two queens, and probably should have tried the other bed, which wasn't the same at all. One of the queens was on a pedestal, and the other one was on a standard metal frame. On the plus side, the location was very convenient -- just off of Highway 8. The breakfast was very nice, and included hardboiled eggs and freshly cooked sausages, as well as the standard waffles and pastries. The woman running the breakfast room was very pleasant and hard-working, constantly replenishing food and tidying up.

it Was good other than the no smoking rule, clean rooms and friendly staff, and a Continental breakfast. Would recommend to a friend on a budget

Cheap over night stayPosted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Always like a complimentary breakfast. Free WiFi was above normally fast.
Cons: They were remodeling some of the rooms, couldn't tell if we were in a finished room or not.
Location: It's the San Diego area, close to almost everything.
When we visit our daughter at the university we always look for the best deal in a room. It's not vacation, just a place to sleep. We generally select the best rate and there are many similar motels around the school. Most are average at best and this one fits in that category.

I needed last minute place for us to stay. It was great to find this place.
Worse hotel experience in San DiegoPosted Jan 3, 2014
The room smells....the hot/cold shower wouldn't regulate to temperature, either really hot or cold, a total nightmare.

Ok place to stay. We only stayed one night. Right by freeway so it was convenient. Room was clean and good breakfast that was included.
