“We like the Bayside Inn”

we have been to the Bayside Inn 3 times, each time we say that we would be pleased to come back.Sadly there is building going on at the bay side of the hotel, and this, in the future will restrict the view, but did not inconvenience us at all.

Hotel was kept up great. Hotel staff service was very helpful and the convenient resturant with happy hour was great. Close to the bay and a rite aid store close enough to walk to. The only not so good thing was the $10.00 extra night for parking.

We were on the 13th floor with a wonderful view of the sail ship Star of India. Easy walking distance to the trolley station, Little Italy, or to walk along the bay. Felt very safe walking in the area. Free airport shuttle service, and continental breakfast made the trip hassle free. Room was large and very comfortable.

Convenient access to freeway, downtown shopping, restaurants and GasLamp area. Very comfortable rooms, gorgeous views.

“It worked great before & after our cruise.”

We chose this hotel just a few blocks from the cruise terminal, because it was more reasonably priced than the ones right at the cruise terminal. They offered complementary airport and cruise terminal shuttle service (only after 7AM). We could have easily rolled our luggage to the ship. We did walk to the terminal in the morning before sailing. They have a free continental breakfast next door. Our check in was on time but it could have been earlier if they had not been putting a new mattress and springs in half of the rooms the day we got back from the cruise. That delayed the maid service, but new beds are a good thing I guess.

A helpful and welcoming staff. Easy check-in. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Decent continental breakfast and the hotel was conveniently located next to Little Italy and about a few blocks away from Gaslamp. My girlfriend and I have been to many hotels and we'd say that this was a GREAT hotel for it's price. Parking was only $10 a day, which is awesome compared to many downtown hotel parking rates. So many people complain about the tight parking, but really, SUCK IT UP! It's not that bad. We went on a weekend and there was enough room for our Corolla. SUV's may have trouble but just park all the way up top. The walk from the structure to the lobby is conveniently close. All around I give this hotel 5 stars and have NO complaints.

“Excellent choice!”

If you're looking for a decently priced hotel that is close to the downtown and tourist attractions, this is the place to stay! The hotel is well maintained, the staff very friendly, and its location is great. Right on the end of Little Italy, the restaurant choices within EASY walking distance are fantastic. The downtown core is within walking distance, as well as the Harbour - which you can see if you have a bayside view from your hotel room! I would definitely return!
