Wonderful stay!

Posted Sep 17, 2014
We traveled 17 hours for a Wedding, and as soon as we pulled in to town we were able to check in. The staff was wonderful from our check in thru our whole stay. Our room had 2 full size beds, tv, mini fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. We were surprised to find the room with also a built in stove (a plus! ). I work for a hotel so the cleanliness of our room was very important(No Bed Bugs!!!!) Breakfast was nothing special cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juice, milk, and instant coffee(not to worry, plenty of Starbucks around.) Our only issue was while the water in the shower was on, somehow the floor ended up with a puddle of water and yes we made sure the shower curtain was closed all the way, But no problem we got fresh towels everyday. Over all we enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back in the area, we will be staying again.

Reasonable price for a comfortable room.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Close to downtown and comfortable with all basic amenities. What more could you ask for at that price?
Cons: The exterior could stand steam cleaning and painting. Fixed smoking areas would be a nice improvement
Location: Near everything you can think of. Only 20 minutes from down town. I can see basing out of here for a family expedition. Freeway is only 100 yards away
Old old old. Decently maintained. Nice garden and fountain. Secure perimeter. I have stayed in worse. Only 20 minutes from downtown. Walking distance to several decent restaurants. Breakfast buffet is really really basic. Coffee, OJ, Milk Banana and cereal. Pool and jacuzzi are both real old but they work. Room has a small kitchen - Real small. Microwave, a small refrigerator and a couple of electric burners. Cable TV including Syfi. So-overall, if you want a comfortable room and you are not too picky, stay here. Or go downtown .and pay ten times as much

The worst hotel ever. Stay away.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
First of all I reserved a superior queen room and when I got their the manager sold my room WHO didn't have reservation. I guess this hotel doesn't honor your reservation . So the manager told me only room was left was a standard double bed and a handicap queen room.so I decided to take handicap room because I was with my wife.the room was old and bed was old,and felt like it was just springs cover by blanket. The manager did not give any discount or upgraded my room. I felt was ripped off.stay away from this hotel. This hotel doesn't guarantee your room reservations, you pay more for a bigger room and in up getting a small room you didn't reserved just because manager might get more money for your room from some who didn't have a reservations.

Pleasent Hotel

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Its a quite good hotel . If you have a car, you will fast everywhere. Very nice pool area, nice atmosphere. Only one thing to complain. ... Cleaning ladies are so loud in the morning... They will wake you up even if you don't want... But in whole i had a good experience with this hotel .

Good location, great on a budget

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Grounds were very pretty, the pool was fun and loved the coy pond. The rooms have seen a better day but they did the job. The breakfast left something to be desired but really, not that big of a deal. Very affordable, staff was super nice as well. If you don't have the money for fancy on the beach, I'd certainly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful grounds, old hotel, bad breakfast

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Strolling through the well manicured tropical grounds was a bit like a vacation in itself
Cons: the so called free breakfast was a joke with instant coffee, instant oatmeal and packaged bagels
Location: The hotel is only a block from highway 805 so it's pretty quick to get anywhere in the area
I've stayed here before and may again but was sad to see that their so called breakfast was nearly non-existant this time. Not even real coffee. I chalked it up to "You get what you pay for" and went our for breakfast. The room was clean and the grounds gave the feel of a tropical paradise. If you're looking for a nice clean place really cheap, you might truly like California Suites

The staff was wonderful. The ace was clean. The other tenants were very noisy and the pillows were very uncomfortable.
