Is this property is horrible... They tried to charge me three hundred dollars for my ada service dog... And the parking is not free... I do not recommend this place. They said they refunded me my money but they did not. I had to call expedia to get my money back because the hotel straight up lied About my money being refunded to me. The place right below called kings inn is much nicer, cheaper, and everyone is friendly and the hotel is always clean and always nice staff. I always feel safe and comfortable staying here.I would not stay anywhere else.

We had a very disappointing stay. The room was falsely advertised as a 1 bedroom suite. When we got in the room, it was a studio suite. Therefore, I assumed we were given the wrong room. When speaking with the front desk staff, I was told that they have no one bedroom suites. For that reason alone, we will not be coming back nor recommending this hotel. Unfortunately, we had an even worse issue with our room. During our two night stay each night between around 10:30pm and 7am, there was a knocking sound coming from the ceiling. At first, I thought it was someone annoyingly banging a stick of some sort. Since it went on all night and there was sort of a pattern, I realized it could not have been coming from the actions of a person. Approximately, every 20 minutes, the knocking would continue for about 10-20 seconds. This made it difficult for my wife and I to fall asleep and woke us up throughtout the night. After the first night, I addressed it to the staff member, who all very nice, had no solution. The issue was kind of brushed off and the staff member said they would have someone look into it after our stay. We are exhausted from our stay and would not recommend staying there. Very disappointed!!

I had issues with the card key! It took too many tries for it to get the door to open and 2 out 3 televisions where not working. Staff all wonderful, cheery and really good vibes. I got to see the cleaning ladies and they were very nice and polite! not to mention their bright smiles..

We arrived at the hotel at 450 and there was a sign at the front desk stating that an employee had left and would return shortly. It was almost 30 minutes before an employee returned to the desk. The lobby also had a smell of urine from an animal. The beds we’re very very firm I know some people like that but it made for a hard night of sleep. The couch bed had also seen better days. When we turned on the ac unit a few ants crawled out so a little bit of a surprise. The hotel has very assessable parking and is close to most things.

We checked in at around 4:18 pm The front desk attendant Rosha. Sorry not sure how to spell his name, was wonderful, very helpful. To the point that assisted my husband who was unable to get off the recliner in the room. Good experience.

Not really an Candlewood...
This may be a Candlewood now but it started it's life as some other motel (doors outside on the back which isn't seen on the photos). It's been remodeled - sort of - and the room was OK but not what we were expecting based on past Candlewood experiences. The staff were curt - and if you needed anything, YOU had to go to the desk and wait to get it from them. Oh - and parking is "available" but costs $10 per night. Really, for over $200/night, you can let me park in your designated (and not full) lot during my stay. Be aware of the elevator - it makes a large clunk at the start and end but got us there OK each time. The kitchenette in the room was somewhat sad - we had 2 of everything (2 bowls, 2 cups, 2 spoons, etc.) and four of us. Many of the drawers didn't stay closed so you had to watch your shins/thighs when you went by as they were rolling open. It suited our needs as we didn't spend much time there but definitely did not meet our expectations as a Candlewood hotel.

Beware if traveling with service animals
Traveling with the family and a service dog. Beware: They do not honor requests for service animals. Over the phone before booking and at check in everything was great. However, when checking out they tried to charge extra fees we were told twice previously did not apply. I provided our service animal credentials.

We had a 2 bedroom suite. The beds were comfotable. I wish the lighting was a little brighter. our recliner and Office chair has definately seen better days. Free Laundry and ample parking were a plus.

This hotel is honestly gross and outdated. The only good thing about it was the price and the fact that they have big enough rooms for families of 6. They had a HUGE mosquito problem. The room itself was sooooo gross. The pull out mattress seriously needed replaced. The couch has very questionable stains. It was dusty beyond belief. Just gross. The shower leaked like crazy from all directions because of the shower head. We had to use the 3-4 towels for every shower experience. Not to mention you either got scolding hot water or cold water. No in between. Really fun for my kids especially. I didn’t want to leave the towels on their wood floors and damage the flooring so I set them outside. Someone apparently complained and they locked us out of our room to basically reprimand me…. Lol… was super weird. A simple, please don’t put your towels outside your room would have sufficed, a note on the door even. But locking us out of room? Insane.

We have just started doing a renovation for our Hotel starting with the Kitchen and then We would be replacing some of the furniture including Sofa bed/Mattress. You can be rest assured that We would never lock our Guests out for any reason. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The couch and dining chairs you felt like you were going to go right through. White chunks of the wall missing across the wall.

It served its purpose but the design of the room wasnt very feasible. The door they put to divided the main room and the livingroom should have seperated the kitchen. The guest in the livingroom kept coming in to use the bathroom or kitchen while I was trying to sleep. The room was, building seemed pretty old as qell. A make over would be nice.

Overall, the space was great and I love that they had Dove products in the shower. However, our microwave didn’t work and the lady at the desk got an attitude when we asked to use the microwave in the lobby/snack area. She said she already put a work order in for ours (we still needed to use a microwave, so a work order wasn’t going to fix that). The AC in our living room area was leaking and they had two trash buckets to collect the water. We would have to dump the water daily, but the leak was annoying to hear all night. The jacuzzi was closed for maintenance so we didn’t get to use it at all.

Found several centipedes in our shower, hair dryer was broken, room wasn’t ready at check-in time, upstairs guests were extremely loud early in the morning, room was never cleaned by cleaning service. Really disappointing, will not be back.
