Nice hotel, across the street from the Outlet MallPosted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, comfy beds and pillows.
Location: Legoland, Outlet Malls, and lots of places to eat.
This was a nice hotel stay with a welcoming staff. It has a TGI Fridays attached and is across the street from the Carlsbad outlet Mall. Nice area, clean rooms, and a awesome breakfast. I made the stay with a wife and two kids and we could not have been more pleased.

Work meeting retreatPosted Dec 18, 2014
Cons: The rooms could be updated a little, but it was a fine place.
Location: 5 minutes to the beach, if that. Next to awesome restaurants and shopping!
The grounds are beautiful and great to take a little stroll. I was in Carslbad for a work training and this place had the right price and right proximity. The room was comfortable and perfect for what we needed. I really enjoyed the breakfast! Omelets every morning with sausage and bagels...a lot of us made breakfast sandwiches! It was a great place and very nicely located. I will stay there again when I go back!

Great location and hotel complex amenities.Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Location, jacuzzi, free breakfast containing numerous items, and good restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Rooms and bedding. It would be nice if in-room safes were in the rooms.
Location: Close to Lego Land, the beach, Carlsbad Outlet shopping, Karl Strauss, Fridays, Islands, P.F. Changs, Rubio's, and BJ's restaurants.
Close to Lego Land, Carlsbad Outlet shopping, Karl Strauss, Fridays, Islands, P.F. Changs, Rubio's, and BJ's restaurants. Plenty of free parking, and a size-able pool area for the kids and sunbathers. This is a great hotel complex, but the rooms are a little worn. This hotel could be a 4 star if they fixed up the rooms and updated the bedding. Each room comes with a patio (ground floor) or balcony (2nd floor).

This hotel is like many average hotels.Posted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: Convenient to many restaurants.
Cons: Soundproofing would really help.
Typical average resort hotel. Lots of parking. Convenient to many restaurants. Bed is comfortable. But the outside noise is really bothersome. I was on the 2nd floor in the back building and you could hear everyone who walked by, who was getting into or out of their, and any delivery trucks passing by.

Not as advertised.Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: Paint was chipping in many places, the "breakfast" was terrible, the wallpaper in our room was peeling off the wall.
The hotel was very disappointing and not as advertised.

It was wonderful! Cute little place! Not on the sea, contrary to its name, but still very nice hotel!
