“Catamaran Resort and Spa - best hotel!”
Can't wait to go back.
“wonderful weekend at catamaran!”
We had a wonderful weekend in Mission Bay. The Catamaran resort was excellent.
“Can't wait to go back!!”
Loved this place!! Loved the room, the view and the location!
“Not impressed”
The room we stayed was in the tower. The t.v. initially didn't work. Too much outside noise. It seemed were stayed next to a generator.
“Enjoyed”
2nd time we have stayed here at enjoy it very much. Only thing we didn't like was the hotel bedroom is right next to the window, would be nicer by the patio or ocean view
“Beautiful View”
Loved the view, the staff was very nice
“"Can't wait to go back"”
Very well maintained property with a courteous staff. A tropical gem in San Diego!
“Great spot in San Diego”
I think the Mission Beach is the coolest part of San Diego, and this is a great hotel in the midst of it all.
“Not impressed”
Beds were hard. Decor was outdated. Mandatory paid parking was unavailable.
“OK, but not great”
The staff at this hotel was wonderful, the grounds were nice, and the location was great - especially with easy access to Mission Bay, and the ocean just across the street. However, the condition of the room wasnt great. We stayed in the tower; with the smelly elevators, and noisy halls. Perhaps a room in one of the other buildings would have been nicer. Our air conditioner didn't work the first night (it was promplty fixed by hotel staff the very next day), the walpaper was peeling off the wall, the matress was old and springy, and the pillows paper thin. After spending $50 on breakfast the first morning, we quickly found other places around town to eat. This hotel was probably great in its time, but it seems a little old and outdated. If they were to remodel the rooms, we would most likely consider staying again.
