Everything was good but the breakfast lacked bacon and sausage.

Cons: Sausages should be included in the breakfast everyday!! Needs more staff in the BF buffet between 9-10am for better service!!!
Nice stay, like the two hypoallergenic queen beds, very good location!

Reasonable yet very nice hotelPosted Mar 25, 2015
We found this hotel to be conveniently located. Their breakfast bar is fantastic. Only thing missing was bacon. The parking is a problem. Not enough spaces near the rooms but we were able to park in the hotel lot. $12 a night fee for parking was adjusted for the inconvenience of walking s block to park the car. We stayed in a room with a fridge and stove. Dishes, pots and pans, dish soap and sponge were provided. Over all I give this place a 4. It was a pleasant stay. However their ice machines were hard to locate and some didn't work.

Very nice place for the pricePosted Mar 23, 2015
My son enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi. I thought the BBQ grills in the pool area were fantastic, very useful. The room was clean and the staff was extremely polite

Pros: The staff was friendly and the rooms were quiet.
Cons: Make surcharges more obvious, especially charges that many/most other hotels in the area do not charge. Clean the carpets.
Overall the hotel was OK. The carpet was stained but otherwise the room was OK. No mini-fridge in the room (something that other hotels in the price range in the general area have) but the biggest issue for me was the parking surcharge. Staying several days the parking fee adds up considerably and the only free option is street parking which is extremely limited. I've stayed at three other hotels in the near vicinity and none have a surcharge for parking.

Pros: Breakfast was good.
Our first night there were several men talking very loudly right outside our door at 3am in the morning which kept me awake and the third night there were people in the room above us who were very loud which also kept me from getting sleep.

Nice motel, great location for MCRD graduationPosted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Covered above.
Cons: The parking is a little tight for the number of rooms. Had to park at the front of the motel, and had to walk way around to the back.
Location: In addition to the close proximity to the MCRD San Diego, Sea World is relatively close as well as other attractions (Cabrillo Point, Imperial Beach)
The motel is very nice, comfortable, clean, inexpensive, and the staff is helpful and friendly (with a hot breakfast as well). The location is in a decent neighborhood just off 8-west and is perfect and extremely convenient if you are attending a Marine recruit graduation ceremony at the MCRD San Diego (just a short 2-mile drive without even having to get back on I-8 or any other freeways). I would highly recommend it, and would stay here again.

Bom custo x beneficio, mas quarto cheirava mofoPosted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: -Equipe da recepção é super prestativa e educada; -Localização com fácil acesso a todos os pontos turístico da cidade; -Bom café da manhã;
Cons: -Estacionamento deveria ser gratuito já que é aberto e sem controle de entrada e saída; -Quartos cheiram a mofo; -Internet muito lenta nos quartos;
Possui piscina e jacuzzi externas. Fácil acesso a todas as atrações da cidade. Desde que esteja de carro.

Not bad, but not what I expected.Posted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: Convenient to most tourist attractions in San Diego. Continental breakfast provided.
Cons: Providing an honest total due amount when reserving online.
I'm from the midwest, and all of the Comfort Inns I've stayed at in this area are new, sparkly clean and attractive. I've never seen one with outside access to the rooms. This one was pretty old looking. I was REALLY disappointed to find out after arriving, that there was a $12.00 parking fee in addition to the room fee. I had reserved the room online, and there was no indication that there would be an additional parking charge. I'm 65 years old and I have NEVER been charged a parking fee at ANY motel. What are you supposed to do - park miles away and walk? It's one thing to include the parking fee in the initial total. It's another thing altogether to deceive people and then screw them when they arrive.
