Not quite what we expectedPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: That you could sleep four
Cons: Building needs refurbishing Get rid of the cockroaches in the bed
Location: Location was ok, traffic getting out is very heavy and the stop lights very short
The building is tired looking and rooms are quite compact. Front desk was not very cheerful and offered minimal help. The third of four nights I woke up because a cockroach was crawling on my arm, I know because I killed it before turning on the lights. Cockroaches in bed are unacceptable anywhere.

Pros: Proximity to many things. Free breakfast
Location: Balboa park, sea world, San Diego zoo-all nearby, plus many others
Nice to have the extra space of a suite. The pool and jacuzzi were clean, but they could provide slightly larger pool towels.

Very friendly staff, room very clean, and was centrally located for all the hot spots in san Diego to see. Would stay there again! only thing is you pay to park at hotel.--not a fan of that!

A nice centralized hotelPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The continental breakfast was good with a lot of seating both inside and outside. Patio area was comfort
Cons: Did not like having to pay for parking considering parking was limited and spaces were tight. Also there were only 2 handicap parking spaces.
Location: Centralized so it is close to everything. Next to the freeway so very easy to get on.
Room was comfortable and relatively quiet. Disappointed with the parking available to guests. Spaces were tight especially at the back of the hotel leading to some guests taking up two spots.

Recent stay at hotelPosted Apr 10, 2015
When we checked in after 9 pm, we found only 1 towel in the bathroom and it appeared it had not been cleaned before we checked in. The sofa sleeper was partially put away, there was no extra blank for the sleeper or pillows. They did bring us an extra blanket after 20 minutes, but could not move us to another room.

excellent overallPosted Apr 6, 2015
Cons: Bathroom door didn't have a lock and kinda old style that didn't close all the way but the rest of the room was incredible and tastefully decorated
Location: Close to everything.
Nice location. Nice value. Nice food for breakfast. Incredible staff. Secure. Couldn't ask for a better stay. Very satisfied. There was a parking fee so be prefpared to pay an extra $12 a day.

Cons: Workout facility.
Location: Zoo, Sea World, Old San Diego, MCRD, Shopping, football and baseball stadiums.
The room was adequate, the service was nice, the breakfast was great, workout facility small and other amenities adequate. Overall, I would give it a "C" grade.

Was located in a great area and had no problems with my stay. Only bad thing was parking, it was a little tight. But other then that everything was good.
