“A Tuxedo on a Corpse”
Great staff, but an aging hotel with a bathtub-sized swimming pool and no comp breakfast is certainly no bargain. Over-priced and outdated. Either join the 21st century with some updating and a comp continental breakfast, or cut your prices in half.
“Old Town”
Really convenient to a bunch of good places to eat but the neighborhood was a bit shady; plus parking was a bit of a hassle
“Great location”
Great location! We wanted to go to Old Town and it was just a short walk. It was also a good middle point for going to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World.
“Good Stay, Bad Breakfast”
Chef at breakfast was horrible rude. Food was sub-par, but the people working were not friendly. The chef was sooooooo rude.
“Great location but bring your earplugs”
Great location a block from Old Town. However, I strongly advise on bringing earplugs in case you get a room that faces the freeway. The single-pane glass makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the freeway. We checked the window to make sure it was closed all the way, but the decibels did not decrease.
“Wont stay here.”
The staff at this hotel, great. The hotel... old. the matresses and pillows were terrible. Parking was impossible on the street which led to paying the $12.00 fee.
“Great find in Old Town”
Great location to Old Town - easy walking distance, esp to the trolley to visti other parts of SD
“Good hotel in tourist area”
Room service food was OK, nothing to write home about. Breakfast was terrific. Desserts particularly weak (the apple crisp - nothing crisp about it). Salads and basics are good to very good. Staff was very good - front desk, room service - excellent.
“no impressed at all it is old”
the hotel is old
“Excellent!!!”
I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. The hotel and service was excellent. I would definitely stay again, and again, and again.
