Thar be WHALES!Posted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: Exceptionally Clean, newer Hotel, with a big parking lot and free parking. Nice grassy park next door and a easy walk to Liberty Station.
Cons: Everything was good, but they need a shuttle to the Downtown Marriott, so we can avoid the congestion. That would be a HIT.
Location: Away from the Downtown area, next to Harbor Blvd., can Bus or drive to any location.
Went to watch the Whales at the Dana Landing, yes we saw Blue Whales. The Hotel was Great, in a good location, 1 mi. from the Liberty Station, good area to walk, a park is next to the Hotel with Grills, next to the Airport, Jets all day. Still tough to park in Downtown SD. Take the Bus or Metro.

Small town feelingPosted Jan 2, 2014
Pros: The open space (park) next to the hotel.
Cons: Friendlier greetings from some at the reception desk.
Location: Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
The surrounding community has a small town feeling. Nice to have a quiet neighborhood in San Diego and still have all the amenities of a city (restaurants, etc.)

Perfect ChoicePosted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: central location. Staff. Rooms.
Cons: The TV cable service was very user unfriendly
Location: Close to Sea World. Parks. The Water and lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Love the dog park next door great for a morning walk each day.
Centrally located to everything. There is a dog park next door, restaurants and Starbucks in the same parking area and small strip mall and a church within a few blocks away. Minutes from Airport/Car Rental and Sea World. The staff was so courteous and professional. We woke up on Christmas morning to a stocking full of homemade bread and cookies and hot chocolate with little marshmallows on our door. This is our new hotel of choice for future trips to San Diego. There are a lot of hotels to choose from in that 2 mile area but this one is the best choice!

Pleasant Stay- Hours Could be BetterPosted Dec 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had to stay here for Navy Reserve drill weekend. Rooms were great. My only complaint was there was limited room service and breakfast opened at 0700. I had to leave by 0700. They had a deli that opened at 0530 but it was not great. The egg sandwich was microwaved right in front of me. Not exactly a great way to start Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, would stay there again.

Weekend GetawayPosted Dec 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very clean and close to everything. It is a full service hotel and the breakfast (while not included) is reasonable and provides everything you would want. Parking is free which is a plus in SanDiego!
