Business stay during March 2015Posted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: The view was awesome, and the rooms were great.
Cons: Keep doing what you are doing.
Location: Everything is very close, and the ocean is within walking distance... great place to spend time.
Great experience. The property is well maintained, the ocean view was breath taking, and had everything you need in, or withing walking distance. Great staff, clean rooms, and a great experience. Will be returning for sure if I go to San Diego.

Nice HotelPosted Feb 4, 2015
Location: Great Location, close to everything. Beautiful walking paths and restaurants a few walking minutes away.
The restaurant was under renovation, so a bit of an inconvenience. Offered free breakfast, but mostly cold eggs. The bar opened at 4 every day and served a limited menu, of which the food was good and well prepared. The Hotel is very lovely with fabulous views of the Harbor and City, depending on what room you pick. It is your basic Hotel room in size, but was just fine for what we needed for a few nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay there again.

Excellent choice in San DiegoPosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: The surrounding, excellent for exercises.
Cons: The mattress in my bed need to be changed.
Location: As I mentioned, the location is excellent, Near of the San Diego Bay, trails for exercise and good restaurants.
The hotel is located in an excellent, quiet area, but near of the most points of interest in San Diego. Good breakfast, good value and very nice staff.

Unhelpful staffPosted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Lovely rooms, nice location, close to the airport.
Cons: Front desk service.
Location: Stone Brewery World Bistro and Gardens is nearby and is fantastic.
While the room itself was really nice, I had booked the 'winter special' which was supposed to include a $20 resort credit. When I asked the reception staff about this when checking in, they claimed no knowledge of it. After checking my booking confirmation (which clearly showed the type of booking and the information about the credit), I returned to the desk to show them. One of the clerks told me that was just a discount from the room rate (it wasn't), gave me her card and asked me to email the confirmation to her, which I did. Never heard another word and as expected, the credit was not forthcoming.

late flightPosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: very comfortable
Cons: Let people know the shuttle service is not 24hr. I called the day before to let them know I would be arriving late and was told to just call.
Location: had a flight the next day did not see the location. It was close to the airport which was nice.
I was delayed leaving Honolulu and arrived in San Diego about 11pm when I called for a shuttle I was told "the shuttle has stopped for the night and to get a taxi for which I would be reimbursed on arrival. I walked with my luggage to the taxi stand only to find apx 25 people waiting and no taxis in sight. The gentleman at the podium directed individuals as they arrived to "just make a line" after 25 mins I called the hotel back and asked if there might be an alternative and was told he would try to find something. About 15 mins later 5 taxis arrived at once and shortly a cascade of cabs took us all to our destinations. The front deskman "Dan" was gracious and tried very hard to be helpful in a difficult situation. I was not the only patron affected a man came in by taxi shortly after I arrived. When I finally got into my room I attempted to turn on the television and it did not work. Frustrated I called front desk and "Dan" came to the rescue. I finally got to sleep around 3 am.

The entire neighborhood is amazing, converted from the original Navy Training Center.
