Good location

I had a great experience for my first time at this Marriott hotel. However, I was little disappointed on not having complementary breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful with accommodations.

Overbooked

Posted Jul 26, 2015
We booked a room about ten days ahead and arrived that evening to find they were overbooked and had no rooms available. They told us we would be transferred to a Holiday Inn Express owned by the same operator. While they were making the arrangements I put our bags back in the car. I came back and was told they had found us a room after all. I went and got the bags again. Oops! Spoke too soon - the other room was prepaid so we would have to go to the Holiday Inn after all. Put the bags back in the car. Guess what? Good news! We *do* have a room for you. So, an hour-and-a-half after our arrival we finally got to our room. It wasn't as nice as the room we had booked, but we were too tired to care. I woke up the next morning to find a bill pushed under my door. A bill for more than the rate we had originally booked at, and for an inferior room. I don't think we'll be back.

Please accept my apology for your arrival experience. I have addressed this incident with all of our front desk staff to enure this does not happen again. Our goal is to provide the excellent service and accommodations that one expects from a Courtyard by Marriott and we failed to deliver that.. I do hope that you stay with us again in the future so that we may provide the high level of service I know our team is capable of delivering.

Party hotel

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Be prepared to call the front desk multiple times in the middle of the night to complain about loud music from the rooms they rent out for parties.

Please accept my apology for the noise disturbance during your stay. Our hotel does have a "no party" policy for the consideration of all of our guests. I will be speaking to all of our staff to enure this policy is being enforced to avoid further incidents like this one. Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention and we hope to have you stay with us again soon.

Nice hotel, beware of softball crowd

Posted Jul 6, 2015
This hotel has a great feel to it. Just so happens that I stayed here on Fourth of July, when there is also a huge softball tournament. As a result, the hotel was packed with kids and adults at the pool and in the common areas. No problem for me, but just annoyed that all of the ice machines were emptied daily into ice chests for these softball teams. This obviously is not the hotel's fault. Nice stay otherwise!

Gardening noise!

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Location was convenient for my stay
Cons: Front desk personnel could be friendlier. Never spoke/ or greeted me when I entered or exited multiple times.
Location: Close to freeway & grocery store
They visit was fine except I was on the first floor and apparently Thursday early morning is gardening day. The landscapers used gas powered hedge clippers as well as leaf blower at 7am for nearly an hour right outside my window. Needless to say there was no sleeping in that day. I advised the front desk and they said they would talk witht the contractor about the schedule.

Two-day stay. The hotel is well-kept, clean.

Posted May 5, 2015
I asked for a room facing the pond (4th floor)... It was more like facing the pool, but it was fine. Room was uber clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were nice. No complaints here. There were good restaurants within a five minute drive (The Barrel, Urge Gastropub, etc).
