Affordable and nice.

I was surprised that this hotel was a walk up style hotel since it didn't appear that way in the photos but the room interior was refreshingly clean and updated with modern furnishings and decor. Very clean and comfortable with a full kitchen for those who want to cook for themselves. I would totally recommend!

Short Stay

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Location to QualCom Stadium and Old Town San Diego.
Cons: Parking spaces are a bit small.
Arrived at 5:30 PM and had an appointment from 6:30 PM until 11 PM. Returned, slept and checked out at 7 AM, so I was not able to check out any facilities. But what I saw was clean and the staff very professional.

Disappointing

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: noting at all
Cons: Customer service, Cleaning service, Shuttle service
Location: There was a lot near, Zoo, Fashion Valley,
I will not want to stay in a Day Hotel again. Room was half cleaned, garbage was left in room after support cleaning it. Garbage was left in walk way out side. only one soap was left in room. No lotions , Hard time getting shuttle to take us places had to get cab. One trash can left in Bathroom, Didn't have good shuttle service at all. Would not pick up from train station . would not take us to other places. Didn't inform us they had free Wi Fi. Would never state there again. Sincerely Lois Andrews

Tired hotel, in need of major refurbishment

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Staff were helpful
Cons: Complete makeover of the rooms
Location: San Diego Zoo, gas lamp district and beaches are reasonably convenient by car. Nothing interesting that's walkable nearby.
We had 2 rooms both of which were in poor condition. One smelled of damp, had curtain fittings hanging loose, a broken plug in the wash-hand basin and a safe that wouldn't work. The other room had a stale smell and a bathroom door that wouldn't close. The hotel was very busy during our stay and very noisy late into the night.

Not great.

Location: Only thing that I liked about this motel is the location and the staff were friendly.
Motel room smelled old and rooms were just ok. Saw bug crawling on the drapes and walked with flip flops in the room.

Pros: convenient to all attractions. good freeway access
