Nice hotel, great breakfast buffet included.Posted Sep 13, 2014
The hotel was nice. However, the room could've been cleaner. Found 4 hairs in bathtub. Yuck! I reported this to the front desk. They said they would make a note of it. I would've preferred they send someone to wash out the tub, instead of having to do the clean up myself.

Very nice hotel!Posted Sep 1, 2014
Nice hotel, typical Embassy suites. We were there for a soccer tournament. Hotel was clean, nice buffet breakfast. No valet, but plenty of parking in the garage, which was about 10 steps away from the entrance. Room a little old, a tad musty, but spacious & clean. Hotel across the street from the mall. Easy walk across to shop & lots of restaurants. Good hotel for the price. I'd stay again.

This hotel is in a great location for the activities we wanted to do (La Jolla Shores, a concert at UCSD, ect.) The beds are comfortable, AC runs very cold, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot. The pull out couches are awful but that's to be expected. The breakfast is good and we beat the lines. The front desk staff was friendly but the staff at breakfast was just on a mission and would not move out of the way for anyone - I thought that was odd considering there were guests everywhere. I understood the chaos, just thought they could've at least said "Excuse me"

One of the best hotels I've stayed at, love the open bar from 530 till 730 and the breakfast was great. Awesome staff and the bar staff was great.

Great quality hotel at the right pricePosted Aug 26, 2014
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the embassy suites hotel in La Jolla, CA. The hotel is very well placed with a shopping mall right across the street and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The usual Embassy Suites breakfasts were readily available although we did note that they tended to begin to close the breakfast off 30 minutes before their defined times so if you wanted hot food, get tree at least 30 minutes before closing time. Overall a great, clean hotel that hits the spot.

Not bad, good for a familyPosted Aug 21, 2014
Would have been nice to have parking, or at least wifi included. Breakfast was pretty good, long lines, not enough seating. I think next time I would just stay somewhere cheaper and buy my breakfast, especially if I need to pay for the wifi and parking on to of the rate.
