Black spot on SPG group of hotels.

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: The valet service team is very friendly and helpful, especially when calling the cab- it was super prompt.
Location: Place is about 5 minute drive away from downtown. Good to leave your car in the parking and take a cab to the downtown.
We checked in late - around 11:00 pm - only to find out our room was not ready. We waited in the lobby for more than 30 minutes. Once in the room was not at all as seen in pictures. Our room was supposed to have bay view. Only thing visible outside was the flyovers and buildings. Not happy. I will not be coming back here.

OVER PRICED

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The staff was the only positive thing about this place.
Cons: Give some sort of discount on parking and some type of continental free breafast...atleast some bagels or something.
Location: CAPS Pizza, great place to eat and very close, bowling alley and the mall is a short walk away.
When I booked this hotel I didn't think it was for a bad price for 3 nights. Until I checked in, this hotel makes you pay an obseen amount a night for parking (no other options or discounts for staying here) which I was not told about upon my booking nor was I informed of this upon check-in until I asked. There was not so much as a fridge in our room or even a complimentary breakfast. I have stayed at cheaper hotels that has more to offer. I stay in San Diego quite a bit and this is the most disapointing place I have stayed yet. Needless to say I will not be going there or recommending this place to anyone else.

Would not stay again

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Hotel staff had little knowledge of surrounding area. One gal did print us directions. Valet was well organized and the guys were very efficient and curtious. No mini fridge in the rooms, had to go to a different floor to get ice. Right in the freeway, very noisy. Great location, not far from beaches or downtown

Nightmare

Posted Aug 17, 2014
From my own experienced stay as far as you can from this place. First at all checking in was horrible. The next day for my surprise I checked out and they said with a big smile that everything was paid and thank you for choosing them. Then I received a second charge in my credit card from them. I am telling you, don't stay. You will end paying almost $ 500 for a simple night. Horrible.

Small dinghy room that was dark and worn out, major construction in the lobby. I checked out.

not a good night sleep

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: add a fridge get bigger beds
stayed on a Saturday night. got to the hotel no problem with the staff. got to the room thought I had a queen bed ended up being a full that does not fit 2 people comfortly, There is no refridgerator in the rooms not even a small one like budget motels have. The walls are paper thin you can here everything next door and in the hall way.

Everyone was extremely nice at the hotel. Room was comfortable and very clean. I would highly recommend the Four Points in downtown San Diego.
