“A pleasant place to stay in San Diego”

Great location for walking to seaport area and restaurants and seaside attractions, also walking distance to Little Italy and Gaslamp district Excellent shuttle service to airport and zoo Very nice breakfast choices

“Great Staff and Location!!”

The hotel is in a perfect location for most of the attractions. The highlight was how friendly thestaff was. We got a complimentary fruit tray for our anniversary! Totally unexpected but appreciated. The shuttle rides downtown to Gaslamp Quarters and to the zoo were very helpful. No need to rent a car. The staff helped us get a rental car for the day to go to the beach (10 min ride) at an good rate.The fitness room was small but was clean, complete with tvs/headphones/ipod connections, very handy. The rooms were clean and spacious for two people. We had the king size bed room! Overall we would recommend this hotel and return with our family.

“Nice Hotel for a Fair Price”

We visited The Holiday Inn San Diego Downtown when on a conference. The arrival was really smooth. Went to the phone in the airport and a shuttle arrived within 10 minutes. Rooms are very spacious and clean as in most Holiday Inn locations. The pool is located outside and when we visited it was too cold to swim. The gym is also located close to the pool, so you have to exit the hotel in order to go to the gym. The hotel is located about 10 blocks from the convention center and if the hotel shuttle is running, they can bring you there. It is about a 10-15 minute walk. Overall, it is a great hotel and will definitely stay there if in San Diego again.

“Great budget choice!”

I stayed here for a recent conference I attended. I was thoroughly pleased with my stay here. The price was great and the room was very spacious and comfortable. I didn't notice any noise (a comment someone had made earlier). The pool did look a little rinky dink but I didn't swim while I was there anyway. In the evening, I walked to the Horton Plaza (outdoor mall) to the food court to eat. There weren't many choices to eat outside of this (the hotel's little restarant had a great burger though!). Anyway, to sum it up, great hotel at value price. Room very comfortable (I slept great!) and the free wireless access was a plus. I recommend this place highly!

“Pleasant surprise”

I was expecting just your average Holiday Inn when I got here, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. All transactions went smoothly, and the rooms are nice! Giant HDTVs, and a beautiul newly modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The free shuttle can take you to nearby nightly entertainment.
