Anniversary weekend

Needed a room last minute near Qualcomm for a half marathon. I usually book in downtown, but since all rooms were booked, found a deal at the Four Points. Great location, just a few mins away from the event and only 15 mins away from downtown. The rooms are comfortable, parking is free. They had a high school reunion that weekend, but still checked us in promptly. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel

Pros: The hotel provides shuttle bus to famous places that are within 6 mile radius. Hotel restaurant meals were great and personals were very helpful.
Cons: Bathroom bath towels could be in a better place other than under the sink.
Location: The Zoo, Sea World and shopping.
Enjoyed riding complementally shuttle bus and going to Zoo, Sea World and one of shopping malls.

Location: many places to eat and close enough to downtown for the night life.

The hottub was stinky tv is blury in both rooms we stayed in. The staff is over wellmed not enough help.

Disappointing Stay

We stayed a this hotel for a couple nights and the overall hotel experience was disappointing. The rooms at first glance was fine, but once you look at the carpet, chair, and furniture you will see several stains, chips and nicks. The restaurant food is overpriced for the quality and the service is very slow. The front desk staff is a mix of friendly and annoyed, leading to a overall disappointing experience. Being a "Sheraton" sets a certain expectation and this property definitely falls short of that expectation.

We were put in a handicap room and the shower water would leak out into the rest of the bathroom so it made it slippery. The first day we checked in our room was not so clean out dated decor and hotel was very hot.

Disappointing Visit

The hotel condition is satisfactory, but at a Sheraton property you expect it to be a bit more that satisfactory. We had multiple rooms for our group and in each room the chair and carpets were run down and showed stains. In one room the the shower did not work and the other room was cleaned but the amenity items were not replaced. At this type of hotel, one would expect a complimentary small/limited breakfast but that is not offered. We ate multiple times in the restaurant and the food quality is fair at best.

All in all hotel was good. Disappointed that the pool and jacuzzi were out of order.... no heat. Was one of the features we booked the hotel for.

WHEELCHAIR USERS BEWARE

Pros: Clean.
Cons: Shuttle transportation, and a couple cut-outs on sidewalks so wheelchair quests do not need to travel on the driveway while avoiding cars and trucks.
Location: I was sitting at the bus stop in the drizzle and cool breeze planning bus routes and transfers needed to get to Sea World. The free shuttle passed by.
FOUR POINTS by SHERATON on Aero Drive (Four Points Downtown also) refused to provide complimentary shuttle transportation to me. They advertise complimentary airport shuttle and other free shuttle transportation to all guests. Only guests who can walk up the steps into the shuttle get free shuttle transportation. Four Points by Sheraton boasts about accessible rooms and gives the impression that all guests receive all hotel features. The hotel feature of Complimentary Shuttle Rides is for all guests who do not use wheelchairs. Quadriplegic guests, paraplegic guests, electric wheelchair guests, scooter guests who cannot walk must find and pay for your own transportation. Four Points by Sheraton does not include you in their total service.
