Relaxing in CoronadoPosted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Everything. Close to town and a walk away from everything you could want to do in Coronado.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Close enough to walk anywhere in Coronado. We walked from our hotel near the Hotel Del, all the way to the Ferry Landing.
Glorietta Bay Inn is located on the Southern end of Coronado and within walking distance to many restaurants, beaches and theaters. Once we parked, we never moved our car. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. Very good breakfast in the morning and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Definitely going to stay there again.

Good location and great servicePosted Sep 30, 2014
We enjoyed the hotel. The location is great - across the street from the beach. Rooms are small but clean. We appreciated the breakfast and afternoon snacks. Nice staff. Coronado is a nice community and we could walk to nearby restaurants.

Exceeded our ExpectationsPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The continental breakfast was the best we have experienced. The pool and grounds were very guest friendly.
Location: We have always loved Coronado. This is the first time we have stayed there. The Lamb's Players Theater is a must!
The minute we checked in I knew we came to the right place. Jon, at the front desk, greeted us like we were long lost friends. His poise and professionalism were over the top. The grounds were immaculate and the room beyond our expectations. Even though we only live an hour away, we have decided that the Glorietta Bay Inn will be our hotel of choice at least once a year.

Great little Inn!Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Small and personalized feel
Cons: Keep doing what you are doing!
Location: Lots of things to do nearby . Shops, restaurants, the beach, everything is within walking distance.
My friend and I stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed our stay. The Inn was smaller than a huge chain hotel and the personalization was very nice. The breakfast was good, view of marina was nice, quiet location was a plus. Great location to beach, shops, restaurants. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Great option on Coronado Island!Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: OVERALL, the Glorietta Bay Inn is a KILLER deal with lots of FREE "EXTRAs" that made it WORTH IT! Here are the extras that we weren't fully aware of u
Cons: Not really. Overall experience was good.
Location: The location is GREAT! right across the street from the Coronado Hotel, and beach. As close to the beach with out being at a hotel right ON the beach
We did our reserch and decided on the Glorietta Bay Inn on Coronado Island, CA. This hotel is quite complex…as they have expanded MANY times through the years. Please note that there are SEVEN different "levels / types" of rooms at the Glorietta Bay Inn. The room types & rates vary from location to the water, room size, view, bed size, and room decor. (Room decor options are old school victorian to modern "white linens and flat screen TV".) We opted for the modern deluxe room and chose well! As the "basic" room is very small and would have disappointed us. OVERALL, the Glorietta Bay Inn is a KILLER deal with lots of FREE "EXTRAs" that made it WORTH IT! Here are the extras that we weren't fully aware of until arrival. 1. It is right across the street from the CORONDAO & Beach. 2. It is very close to the "city center" with restaurants and shops with in very close walking distance. 3. The breakfast was incredible compared to the usual "continential breakfast" at most places. The breakfast had 3 types of fresh exotic sliced fruit, gourmet pastries, and many other wonderful things. ALSO, they have ACTUAL plates, cups, and silver wear for you to eat with so you don't feel like you are always at a breakfast picnic. 4. Free gourmet FRESH coffee 12 hours a day! 5. Free lemonade punch and classic ginger snap cookies from 3-5 pm every day. 6. Free beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and other random beach things. THIS IS A GREAT HOTEL. & they didn't pay me to say this!

Great choicePosted May 18, 2014
My mother-in-law was out visiting from Illinois and even though my husband and I live in the San Diego area, we booked a room at the Glorietta Bay Inn so we be close to the beach. So happy we chose this hotel!

Very Nice hotel near the beach...Posted Apr 19, 2014
The rooms were very clean. Staff was the best I have seen in a long time. Customer service, was excellent.. I wished more Hotels were like this one. It seemed like all the employees loved their jobs and took pride in helping you in any way. I was at the Inn for 2 weeks visiting my husband, who was working in SD. Short walk across the street at The Del to the Beach. I loved it and will be back again.
