Good location but too noisy! Wouldn't recommend it

Pros: Good location and the rooms are nice.
Cons: Fix the air conditioners and carpet the floors.
Location: Lots of nice restaurants close by.
Noisy air-conditioner in another room reverberated through the wall and kept me awake all night. I asked to be moved at 4 am in the morning because I couldn't stand it anymore. The new room was below another room and as they all have floorboads I could hear the people upstairs klomp up and down for hours at a time in the morning .. so I couldn't sleep in. I got this for the next three days. I have since moved to another hotel and it is blissfully quiet in comparison.

A restful hotel in a lovely, safe location

Pros: The hotel is located a block away from the ocean and within easy walking distance of the boutique shops in La Jolla - so I did not need to hire a car.
Cons: Lovely - just the way it is.
Location: Plenty of choice for eating out within walking distance. The bus ride north to Westfield shopping mall is very scenic and south goes into San Diego.
I stayed in one of the garden suites which are arranged around a delightful gated courtyard. These rooms come equipped with a small kitchette that has a fridge, so I was able to keep fresh milk to make a proper cup of tea in the morning.

The lobby is very nice and the bar and restaurant are very good. Staff was very friend.

Pros: コロニアル調の室内装飾
Cons: フロントは愛想が悪くベルボーイは挨拶もしない。
スタンダードタイプ325号室。窓からの景色はパーキングや倉庫の屋根の向こうにちらりとビーチが見える。パーキングでのごみ回収の音、上階の人の物音、エアコンの騒音など、疲れていなかったら安眠は出来ない。この部屋でゆっくりくつろぐ気にはなれず、外出してビーチやショッピングで過ごしていた。

The Colonial is charming and in the heart of La Jolla. The in house restaurant is amazing!
