I like to be spoiledPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The location is beautiful. Very centralized to restaurants, bars, and the stadium. Walking distance to everything we needed.
Cons: People & pillows.
Location: Everything is nearby and walkable. We went to a Padres game, starbucks a few times, restaurants, and just took a stroll around town. Very nice!
Parking at this location is confusing, so we opted for valet at $40 a night (but you can leave and return as many times as you want - that's a plus) But to my surprise, when we left our vehicle with valet... no one came out to help us with our bags. While checking in we were asked what kind of music we'd like in our rooms. While my colleague was pleased that her selection played when she went into her room... I got the incorrect selection.. and couldnt figure our how to change it... so I shut everything off and enjoyed the silence at the Hard Rock cafe hotel instead. My only other dissapointment was the pillow. Not comfortable at all. :( woke up with a neck pain because of them. :(

Bachelor Party WkndPosted Sep 2, 2014
Great hotel to party especially the pool party they had this Labor Day Wknd. Got in free at the nite club. Drinks at the hotel are pricey. Rooms are a bit small. Overall did have a good time at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Great hotel in the heart of GaslampPosted Aug 28, 2014
Great experience just wish they would have told us that the pool was closed for a private event. Our plan for the day was lounge by the pool and that got messed up. Everything else was great.

Great location, right in the heart of Gaslamp.Posted Aug 11, 2014
Amazing location. Right in the heart of the gaslamp quarter. Metro stop just across the road and a 5 minute walk to seaport village. Great staff and facilities too. Definitely recommend

Nice hotel, very loudPosted Aug 7, 2014
Really loud party at the hotel when i checked in. Business travelers may want to look elsewhere first. If a loud party is your thing, then you'll like this property.

Great stayPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: I loved the rooftop lounge, I liked that it's in the Gaslamp Disrict.
Cons: I did not like that you have to pay for parking. At the rate I payed I would have hoped that parking was included. It was a nice splurge for my bday.
Location: The Gaslamp District. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hard Rock. I was hoping that I could have stayed longer. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Bed was really comfortable. It was in the middle of Gaslamp District.

Great hotel right in the heart of GasLamp Dist.Posted Aug 1, 2014
We had never been to San Diego and wanted to visit while visiting a local college. 3 generations stayed this weekend and this hotel was fun for all 3 of us. It had the energy and young vibe for my freshman in college. The lobby smelled great, the staff was exceptionally helpful, and our room was big, clean and had a great view for me. My mom had a great time looking at all the rock and roll memorabilia and even took selfies on her phone with a picture of Elvis and the Rolling Stones. We also were impressed with the spa. We walked to dinner and shopping on 5th. It is across the street from the convention center and you can hear the Padres fans cheering if they are in town if you step out on your balcony. This hotel definitely was a great pick.
