For Sleeping Only

Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: It is nice that the rooms have a refrigerator and the pastries available in the morning was unexpected for a hotel this price range.
Cons: Everything is old an worn out. It could all be upgraded.
Location: Easy access to I-8. Lake Murray is very close, ~5m.
With the Heritage Inn, you get what you pay for. The cost per night is very inexpensive and you get a place to stay for that price. The hotel allows smoking in many (all?) rooms. I would have preferred a non-smoking room, but that wasn't available. Since the room I was given was a smoking room, the bedspread was full of cigarette hole burns. Everything in the hotel is worn. The towels are thread bare. The carpet isn't installed well; or perhaps it has just been pulled away from the walls with usage... The Heritage Inn is very inexpensive and seems safe enough for sleeping. However, you won't want to spend any "extra" time there. Also, being right by the interstate, the rooms are noisy.

Just a place to sleep

Posted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: Location, low price.
Cons: The TV channel selection is very limited. The towels are worn. The entire room is worn.
The hotel is nothing special. It offers an OK place to sleep, but you wouldn't do much else there. It is near the freeway, so it is pretty loud. The rolls in the morning were an unexpected treat.

Simple Hotel

Cons: Accessisability
This is a basic hotel at a hard-to-access place. Getting in and out of the place is not very easy.

Never again

Posted Oct 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was by far the worst experience I've had at a hotel. Our room smelled really bad and we couldn't get rid of the smell. It was a non smoking room but there were cigarette burns near the sink. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to my family. Won't stay here again.

Smelled like Smoke

Posted Oct 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
We got a non-smoking room, but it obviously housed smokers before our stay. That smoke smell seeped into our clothes and our items still smell like smoke. It is revolting..
