good for a night.

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Good price because we were able to reserve room months in advance. It was also close to where were going.
Cons: Replace broken, chipped, torn and stained items. Table/desk, lampshades, chair.
Hotel room was clean but run down. Chips in tables, small hole in chair and the lampshades were torn. For a one night stay this hotel was tolerable. We also booked way ahead so paid lower price. If you are a tourist I wouldn't advise staying here, its not in that great of an area. Has an air-conditioner that is in the wall. It works but is a little loud. Had to put a chair in front of it so it wouldn't blow directly on me.

Terrible hotel and expensive

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Reserved Parking. Try to use some room spary.
Our stay was horrible. 1. No reserved parking. After 10 PM all parking lots were full. The receptionist got angry on us and asked why you are coming so late. 2. Room smells stingy. My friend was fightin with me "why did you booked a smoking room !!!!" . Please believe I booked a non-smoking room and some ___hole have smoked horribly in that room. 3. Table and chairs were not firm, legs were shaking. We couldn sit and eat. 4. Early morning toilet got clogged. And the hotel staff gave me a plunger when I complained. Awesome !!!! isn it. Only good thing was....when we checked-in the hotel staff was talking very nice. I will not stay in this hotel here after and wont recommend for anyone who will come to San Diego for tourism. Apologies for not attaching the roompics here.

Pros: Having coffee and pastries in the morning; however, if you are out late the night before - a 9 am cut off for this one nice amenity is way to early.
Cons: Cleanliness - cut the tree that covers your Hotel sign - we were lost becaue it is a very tiny hidden street and you could not see the sign
Location: Not the nicest area and not that close to Seaworld as you advertised.
One of the front desk clerks was completely rude prior to our arrival. Towels were tiny and felt like sand paper. Carpet felt sticky if no shoes were worn. The carpet in the hallways was absolutely felthy everywhere. The coffee maker in the room was so felthy and it looked it had not been cleaned forever - disgusting. I would have been better off going to a Motel 6!

Disappointment for standard services

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Close to Sea World, where we were traveling. Great restaurant near by Phil's BBQ. bed was comfortable. Coffee and pastries in the morning.
Cons: Clean the rooms, Fix the WiFi for all rooms. fix the toilets. bigger screen TV
Location: Sea World, Phil s BBQ
Room smelled mildew. carpet was dirty. WiFi did not work unless you had a room close to the office. Toilet ran all night and was noisy had to shut off water supply to silence toilet. Staff made no attempts to fix anything. said it would have to wait till next day. No hair dryer in room as advertised. AC was noisy and not very effective.

The location was the best thing about this hotel.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was friendly and the room was fairly quiet.
Location: Old Town San Diego, Sea World, Phil's BBQ which is amazing!
The room wasn't dirty but it wasn't worth the price. I have stayed at better looking hotels for a cheaper price. The best thing about the hotel was the location. It was a 7 minute drive to Old Town San Diego and well as Sea World. There was a lot of places to eat around the area which was nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not have a blow dryer which is a bit inconvenient for me but not a big deal. The restroom door was so loud when opening and closing and it was nearly impossible to lock the door which was very annoying. The only reason I wouldn't stay here again is the price!
