Nice hotel. Close to GasLamp and convention centerPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Close to Gas Lamp.
Cons: Cut parking rates in half.
Location: Gas Lamp. Seaport Village shops. Walk along the Bay. Close to Coronado Island bridge.
Rooms are smaller than would be expected. Disappointed that there is a $30 per day parking charge.

Nice hotel by waterPosted Feb 25, 2014
really enjoyed our stay loved the fact that we didn't need to drive any where walking distance to seaport village and gas lamp. The only thing was not so good was paying for parking.

We only stayed one night but the staff was great, hotel was beautiful and very clean. I would highly recommend to anybody staying in the San Diego area. Restaurants and pool were nice and the service was excellent!

Saturday night stay - 2/15/14Posted Feb 18, 2014
Maids just walked into the room two times, both unannounced. 1) Maid # 1 had forgot her cell phone at some point in the afternoon and just came into the room looking for it, not realizing that we have in the meantime checked-in. This happened in the afternoon / early evening, around 6 pm. 2) Maid # 2 just unlocked the room but couldn't get in because I had the metal lock over the door. She had thought that room was empty. When I told her that we were getting ready, she argumentatively said that it was the check out time, even though it was only 9:45 am and the check out time is noon. She was extremely rude!!! What was the most disappointed at all is the following. We reported what happened, when we were checking out, and were very nice about it. In fact, I had turned the cell phone in myself on Saturday evening around 7 pm. The front-desk clerk promptly asked us to speak with front desk manager, which we did. The manager apologized but offered nothing for inconvenience. I wasn't expecting for him to comp the room or anything like that but he could have offered coffee / tea or maybe two drinks "on the house". Nothing at all! In summary, if you are looking for any type of privacy, this might not be the place to stay!!!

Weekend Get AwayPosted Feb 17, 2014
Hotel was descent. Great part is that it's very close to good clubs and San Diego zoo if you're into that. What I disliked was the 28 dollars per night for overnight parking.

Great Place To StayPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Price, Room, Hotel.
Cons: Free parking for guests would be a great improvment.
Location: The gas lamp district is packed with excellent eateries. I must visit while staying at this hotel.
Excellent service, staff, and room with a view of the bay and city. I can't wait to go back!!
