Seaport or Gaslamp easy

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Walked to fun Gaslamp dist. for dinner and speakeasy afterward. Ask pedicab to take you there for fun ride.. Anthony is the best pedicab.
Cons: Massage adds on 20%grat. then says you can opt out but you feel a little strange while they watch you decide. Bad idea.
Right on the Seaport Village walk or runway, whichever your choice. Lovely Marina-side dining and pool. Spa and massage were great. But if you want a cozy, less sterile hotel not geared toward conventions, then I'd choose another.

An excellent choice for San Diego

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Clean and lovely view.
Cons: Lots of noise in the lobby area
Location: Situated near the entrance to the Gaslamp area. Everything in San Diego is pretty close. The water front area has loads of ships you can see.
We stayed thre in October and the weather was beautiful. The location is great, the ocean view was superb and the room was excellent. It was well appointed with a very comforable bed. It is a convention hotel and very little cheap eats nearby by there is a Starbucks.

Excellent hotel, self-parking available. Across the street from Petco Park, next to Convention Center. A nice walk/run along the Embarcadero to Seaport Village. Appears to be a big conference/convention site.

Breakfast & wifi less stay

Pros: close to downtown
Cons: provide complementary breakfast and WIFI enabled in the room
Hotel should provide complementary breakfast and WIFI enabled in the room and also extra car parking fee.

Great location

Last minute weekend getaway. Hotel was clean, with many onsite ammenities. Many options for dining or drinks. Easy access to Petco Park and the Gaslamp Quarter. Great waterfront path that can lead you miles down the waterfront.

Really nice hotel & beautiful view

I loved it! It's really nice and clean. Very friendly staff and informative. There's a section outside that smells bad but can't complain, it is the bay. Would definitely recommend it.

My reservation was a lie

Posted Jan 13, 2015
I had booked a 1king bed bedroom. When I get there I check in and the guy who checks me in was ok after I had to wait 20 minutes just to check in and once that done they gave me my room when I walk in the room is a cheaper room with two beds! I talk to them and they said I can give a free breakfast for the morning we don't have any king beds anymore! Just go to Hyatt or Marriott

A Hotel close to where I want to go

Posted Jan 11, 2015
We arrived a little early for the check in so we went to Coronado taking the ferry and came back ready to check in. The staff were good and helped us through, The view was amazing especially during the night. The only thing that concerned me is that there is a $75 penalty for early check out so we waited until 12 noon.
