Very Convenient

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Its in a very nice location, close to all the fun!
Cons: I spent a lot of money on a room to enjoy a night out in San Diego. The cost to park in this hotel is OUTRAGEOUS. Complimentary parking is a must
Location: bars and clubs
Had a very nice stay. The parking price at this hotel is ridiculous when you are already paying so much. They claim to have "unlimited ins-and-outs...but if im paying 500$ to stay one night at a hotel with a prime location, why would I want to take my car in and out? poor decision on their end.

Perfecto para estar cerca del convencion center

Posted Jul 31, 2015

Pros: It felt like a nice high-end hotel.
Cons: We felt that we were offered a less desirable room initially because we had booked it on Expedia. That wasn't a good experience.
Location: Great location. close to 5th Avenue, restaurants, the boardwalk, the Marina, Seaport Village. Walkable to everything.
Very nice hotel. Great location, can walk to any numbers of great restaurants and shops. Easy access to the waterfront, the boardwalk, marina, and Seaport Village. Front desk staff tried to give us a room with 2 double beds, even though we had booked a room with a king bed. When we pushed the issue, we were offered a smaller than average room with a king bed. It was small but still very nice.

THIN WALLS

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Nicely decorated.
Cons: More insulation in the walls to dull the sounds.
The walls are so thin that you can hear everything out in the hallway as well as in the next room. The train tracks were right next to the hotel and the warning sirens were ridiculously loud. Sleeping was not really possible. The room was very nice and spacious. New amenities and the bathroom was nice. The noise issue outweighed the amenities. Shame because the hotel was very nicely decorated.

Not the best Hilton but decent enough for a quick

Posted Jul 11, 2015
This hotel seems like it should be really nice but it was a bit of a bummer. Usually stay at the Bay Front which is awesome but it was booked for the weekend. Chose this instead... First off, they were charging $45 A DAY for parking for guests. What the what?! I've never heard of something so ridiculous when you already paying close to $300 a night. I used the parking garage 2 blocks away for $15. On top of that, our room was so dusty! Like all over the lamps, tv's, phone. My friend plugged her iPhone into the speaker/clock and her hand was covered in dust. Gross. The beds were comfortable which I guess is the only thing you really need. The pool area is small - Only about 8 lounge chairs for close to 35 people that wanted to use the pool. I don't think I would stay here again. The guest parking rate and the dustiness of the room left me with a bad impression. Unfortunate because the location of this place is so awesome to Gaslamp.

Nice hotel close to family.

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Convenience to everything downtown, and to family as well as pet friendly with great pet walking out front. Very clean and very friendly staff.
Cons: No trash pickup at 5:45 on a Sunday, or any other day for that matter.
Location: Lots of restaurants, shops, Petco Park nearby.
I like the hotel, have stayed before, but this time I was in a room on the second floor over the driveway to the garage and on a very busy street on the north side of the hotel. There was lots of loud foot traffic and vehicle traffic at night. At 5:45 A.M. on Sunday morning, the trash truck was below my window picking up dumpsters and dumping them. (very loud) I would not stay there again if I had to stay where I was. Last stay was in a west facing 10th floor room that was great.
