"Beautiful Hotel! Great Location! Awesome Staff!"
We stayed one evening and I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and how comfortable the room was. Also, Aaron, the concierge was so helpful and wonderful to us. He drove us around and picked us up in the complimentary London taxi the hotel provides - it was fantastic!! Definitely staying again next time!

"Wow where do I start?"
I absolutely love Hacienda Hotel. The only reason I took one star away from cleaniness is because one day only house keeping for some reason did not clean up our room. The staff quickly brought us clean towels and water. Other wise the room was very clean. I found the hotel staff to be very nice and helpful. The hotel facilities was so colorful with flowers every where. And had such a beautiful Mexico flare. Once I walked onto the grounds it was hard to know there was some what of an industrial area in the neighbor hood. The view from our balcony was excellent. I felt like I was in Mexico. The restaurant has very good food and a great variety of menu items. The buffet breakfast that was included in the room cost was one of the best hotel buffets I have seen. I am going to stay at Hacienda the next time I go to San Diego.

"Very Nice Hotel"
My room was not ready when I arrived so I had to wait. The front desk staff was awesome, Dave kept me updated on my room. When I did get into my room Dave sent room service up with a bottle of wine for me. The next day when I arrived back to my room there was a candy bar, a bag of chips and a couple bottles of water! - Very thoughtful!!

"Lukewarm shower"
Shower barely warm enough during 3 day stay in room 232. No complaints about comfort otherwise. Probably a faulty shower faucet, as water at sink was hot. Very clean. Excellent interactions with staff. Great location for our purposes, close to harbor attractions, walking distance from cruise ship terminal, near Little Italy tram station (1 block), easy access for about $4/day/pp by tram/bus to Gaslamp, Balboa Pk, even Coronado Island beaches (with a Compass Card). Provided free luggage storage before checkin and before a late flight out. Free shuttle from cruise terminal and to airport. Definitely would stay again.

"great location"
on arriving was not the most exciting of appearances but once inside the hotel was a great surprise. The lifts were very old fashioned but added to the delights, staff were extremely helpful and knew all about the area.Great rooftop patio with views of the bay.

"Luxurious getaway for just the two of us"
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. All of the staff were outstanding! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The hotel restaurant is also excellent, from the food to the service. In fact, on our last day at breakfast my husband accidentally dropped a $100 bill on the seat. The staff immediately called us in our room. You just don't find service like this anymore!!! Wow!

"Great hotel for the price in Old Town"
I came to San Diego from Philly for a science conference, so I was on a budget. I got this place for ~$100 a night plus $10 a day to park in their lot. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They keep it clean. The free breakfast was solid- eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffles. Full cable package and HBO. Comfy bed. You can hop right on route 5 from the hotel to get around, or walk 10 minutes up Congress St. to the bus/trolley to get downtown or elsewhere.
