“Close to SDSU”

We have stayed at this hotel several times this past year and have always been happy with the service of the staff and cleanliness of the room. We love it for its proximity to the college so that we can go back and forth in minutes to pick up or drop off our daughter. The front desk always gives us a great room!

“Worked out well for us.”

It worked out well for our trip to the Holiday Bowl. Easy access to the trolley and we found a wonderful little pizza place on the way.

The front deskman was an absolute pleasure in which to deal. I would most definitely book a room there again in the future.

“great hotel”

i stayed here on a weekday and it was really nice and quiet. the room was very comfortable and the pillows were especially soft. the room and bathroom were very clean. staff was friendly and helpful. lobby area is very warm and welcoming. parking's free. there's also a fridge in the room but no microwave. while i was there, the microwave in their diner was broken so i couldn't heat up any of my food, but it was no biggie since the hotel's conveniently located near a plaza with chipotle, pick up stix, and mcdonald's

“good”

everything was good, I would recommend this place. One thing was annoying is the AC in the room was a bit loud but other than that we like it.

“Holiday Inn Rocks!”

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in La Mesa, CA; and it was great. The room was very clean and had an upscale decor to it. The service at the dining room for breakfast was also very good. We will definitely be back!

Great Hotel! Granite counters- huge TV- lots of room- very stylish decor- very very clean! Only a 15 minute drive to Mission beach!

The staff at this hotel were great. They even were right on when they reccomended a local restaraunt up the street. The place is Chins. We would definately stay here again

“good hotel in this area”

the hotel was clean and attractive. it is a little older property but very well maintained. the rooms look to be recently renovated. very good quality linens for a hotel in this price range. has a restaurant on site which was nice for breakfast and a meal after being out all day. the food was reasonably priced, good for the price paid and they do have room service. the staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful. we stayed two nights and will stay again. i am very picky about cleanliness and this passed my test. only drawback was the bed which was a little firm, but we have a tempurpedic mattress and that is hard to beat. i always have this complaint when i stay away from home. this hotel was located in the area in which we needed to be so was a good location for us.
