Booked through Expedia - no complimentary coffee in lobby. Even though California has water shortage they changed linen every day ( 4 night stay). We hung up towels for reuse and they removed them and replaced. Otherwise everything else was fine. Door had to be repaired on arrival - keys would not work, but they handled it quickly.

I selected this hotel based on its location and the promise of FREE AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION-- which is NO LONGER PROVIDED. The hotel's Expedia page has "Free Airport Shuttle" listed in at least three places but when I called from the airport (during daytime hours and one week after booking) I was informed that they no longer offer this service and I would need to pay for a taxi. After much insistence and heated conversations with three staff members they agreed to reimburse me for the cost of a Super Shuttle airport van-- not a great way to begin my San Diego visit. The room was clean but in much need of maintenance and a fresh remodel (water stains from a leaking sink tap, moldy grout, a running toilet, etc.) My advice-- look elsewhere.

Ok nothing impressive, rude staff and doesn't make you feel welcome at 160 a night I want to feel welcome. Also ran out of water was forced to buy vitamin water. Rooms were ok bed was good.

Pros: staff was nice and friendly
rooms were verty dirty and smelled like smoke. had to change rooms twice to get one that was clean enough to sleep in. staff was helpful and friendly

Cons: Fix worn equipment and sound proof rooms
Get to hotel and room is not as I had reserved ( 2 queen beds - I reserved 1 king ) Easily resolved Return to hotel from evening out and room key does not open door, go to front desk and they reprogram key. Try again and door still will not open, back to desk( told I have an attitude and need to calm myself ) to be sent back with security to open door. Turns out door handle needs to be wiggled up then down for door to open. Very noisy, could hear guests in adjacent rooms, guests in hall, showers in adjacent rooms. Overall I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Staff Needs to be trained

Pros: Atmasphere.
Cons: Training of staff.
I made reservations a week ahead a time ,arrived with reservation in hand and the clerk seem to not know how to recieve me. She still book me for an extra room that I had to have removed from my statement befor I left the Hotel. It was horrable!!!

Pros: See above. Simple and convenient.
Cons: Price has gone up a lot.
Location: Plenty of restaurants. Mission Valley just down the road. Close enough for tourists but not overrun with them. Good for business & please.
This is the #1 stop for us in San Diego for our weekend stays. Convenient location, easy in and out, quick checkins. We keep going back. If there are any bumps in the road the staff resolves them.
