“Definitely stay again!”

Room was available so we were able to check in early...BIG PLUS! Location was great, easy to find off the freeway, yet there was no freeway or traffic noises. The staff were very friendly & helpful, I'll definitely stay there again!

“Pleasant Stay”

Very nice hotel and free breakfast was very good. The bathroom did not have a forced air fan so it was hard to exhaust moisture after a shower. Otherwise, it was a good value and a pleasant stay.

“Perfect for Visiting Miramar/Scripps Ranch”

Enjoyed relaxing time by the pool with family. (Pool not heated, so slightly cool, but nice hot tub to warm up.) Spacious room in King with pull-out sofa. Enjoyed free high-speed internet. Good looking restaurant downstairs, yet we drove to visit friends instead. Appreciated refrigerator for leftovers and cold drinks.

good, clean facility and spacious room/bathroom... the extra folding sofa/bed unfolds to a queen size bed which was unbelievable! highly recommend it.

Although our stay was a short one, the hotel and staff meet our standards greatly. The staff waws pleasant and helpful; the hotel warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the right price. If we are in need to be in this area again, we will not hesitate to stay at this hotel.

Easy to find. Easy access in & out of lot & very close to freeway. Hotel surprisingly quiet in lobby, possibly because it did not seem very busy, Always a pleasant person on the counter. Room was a shocker--much nicer than expected. I don't spend much time in hotels, but it looks like The Holiday Inn has really improved their rooms from several years back. Free internet and both soft and firm pillows on the bed. Even free bottled water. Fridge, microwave, iron in the room. Although I could see the freeway from my window I did not hear any road noise when in the room. Pretty comfortable bed. I'm not very messy, so to prevent Housekeeping from changing my sheets the first night I left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door when I was out of the room for the day. Returning that evening I found a pleasant but firmly worded note saying they had been by, and would be coming inside if the sign was up 3 consecutive days--probably a good policy . Only disappointments were the coffee (which should have been labeled Columbia Inferioro) and the older TV with a slightly testy remote and several very fuzzy channels. Overall quite a comfortable feeling. Not a 5 Star hotel, but also not a place where you felt you should prop a chair under the door handle.
