Cool little hotel smack in the middle of downtownPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Location, Location Location. That and the room itself was comfortable and every single on of the staff was friendly and courteous.
Cons: Needs a pool area and lack of parking is kind of a bummer
Location: The Ballpark is right next door and the nightlife in Gaslamp makes this an exciting location. Want to do shopping? Horton Plaza is next door.
San Diego is a cool little area. This hotel is right next the ballpark and tons of action in the Gaslamp Quarter.

Wonderful dog friendly hotelPosted Apr 6, 2015
The staff were amazing. They were helpful and kind. Our pup was crying after we left so they called me and offered to take him out for a walk and play with him. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooftop bar was a lot of fun to grab a drink and sit by the fire pit. They also have a dog area up there. We loved our stay and plan to stay again. The only bummer was the fee of parking at $41 a night.

Nice, affordable hotel in GaslampPosted Mar 31, 2015
Everything was great, hotel was the best hotel choice in the area considering I booked the day before and it was the most affordable too. The only downside was there was no fridge, no microwave, and the wood floors were a bit on the sticky side. Overall a good experience, the rooftop bar was nice as well. Would recommend to a friend.

Nice hotel, good locationPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: We were able to leave our car w/ valet after checkout until mid afternoon at no additional charge.
Location: Half Door Brewing Co. across the street - good brew, good food.
Just a short walk from the center of the Gaslamp district. Very good service. Helpful front desk and valet staff. The Half Door Brewing Co. is across the street for a convenient beverage and meal.

Great location! Close to beaches and shoppingPosted Mar 16, 2015
We have stayed in many hotels and resorts and I have never been treated better! Great staff who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The waitresses even remember how I liked my coffee from day 1, didn't even have to tell them what I wanted!

HOTEL INDIGOPosted Mar 2, 2015
The hotel was ok the location was good [although I would rather been up on Broadway]. The roof top bar was nice and the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. I only had one meal there [breakfast] and as I recall it was very good as was the service. I may stay there again if it fits into my travel plans.

Nice boutique hotel with good locationPosted Feb 26, 2015
Location: Right by Petco Park. Lots of restaurants nearby. Can get a little loud at night during weekends.
Good location. Excellent service. Food was good. I would recommend it if you prefer smaller hotels.

nice hotel a few blocks from the Gaslamp & PetcoPosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location is convenient and hotel is well maintained. Liked laminate wood flooring in room which is much cleaner than carpeting (bathroom is tiled).
Location: Relatively quiet area for downtown location, well located near Gaslamp District & Petco Park.
Indigo is a very nice hotel, well located to the Gaslamp district and Petco Park. It is a few blocks away from these attractions so it is close enough to easily access them but away from the noise late at night. There's a new good brewpub (Half Door Brewery) conveniently located directly across the road and good breakfast/coffee place (Brooklyn) a block up. The hotel is well decorated, nicely furnished. The room was a good size, bathroom was spacious and room clean. It was nice that one of the exterior windows could be opened for fresh air (also good as the bathroom venting fan was not the strongest). :) The 9th Floor bar was cosy and had good atmosphere. The elevator was surprisingly quick (to 5th floor)Stayed here 6 days. On one day cleaning staff failed to replace shampoo that was used up but promptly received replacement from front desk. When checking out, I was told I had charge for a water bottle used on my 5th day there. No water bottle was used or removed from room from me or my spouse at any time during our stay. Given that housekeeping did not even attend the room on the 5th day ("do not disturb" signage was displayed during that day) I was quite surprised to hear of the charge for use of a water bottle in the room. This was a little disconcerting. When I advised the front desk they promptly indicated the charge would be removed from my bill. Once I get my credit card statement, I will verify. Overall, I thought the hotel was very good and I would recommend it.
