Missing a window

Posted Oct 22, 2014
The room didn't have a window! There was a frosted payne of glass that let no light whatsoever in. This seriously made me wonder if wasn't just a dummy to make you think there was a window. It was dark and dreary in the room. I couldn't stay there.

Perfect! The hotel is small and especially private. Exactly what I need for rest and relaxation!

Great hotel and great location!

We stayed for 5 nights. The rooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was roomy with a great shower. The hotel is located near the baseball park and is on the edge of the Gas Lamp Quarter. The staff was very accommodating and the restaurant was excellent.

Really nice hotel, recently refurbished it seems

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Nice room and well serviced
Location: Close to bars and restaurants plus the ball stadium
The hotel is well placed in the "gaslight district" so handy for lots of good restaurants. There is a nice roof terrace bar which overlooks the baseball stadium where you can watch the game on TV and see the action live or just enjoy the view. We did not use the restaurant or their downstairs bar as there are so many others in the area.

Great.

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Environment, location, staff.
Cons: Parking is a bit tricky.
Location: So many bars! The rooftop bar at the hotel itself was good!
I ended up here because the original hotel I had booked was full. I had never been to Gaslamp and quite frankly I was not even planning on going. It just happened to be near where I had to be for the weekend so I figured eh, why not? I just turned twenty one so I was able to actually hit all the places I had read about. Overall it was great. The staff was friendly, the room was very nice and it is in the middle of everything. Wish I could have stayed for more than one night to truly enjoy everything.

Great downtown hotel for affordable rate

Had good experience, but the shower had a problem w the handle and there was no iron in the room, but the front desk solved that problem quickly. Valet parking a bit pricey, but room and beds were great.
