Pros: Price, staff
Cons: Bed springs, hot water
Location: Lego land
The hotel bed had seen better days, the springs were felt with every roll over. The staff was nice and the room were clean but showers were a must only in the morning, in the evening we had no hot water, not even to wash hands. Overall it was fine for the price but will not be staying there if had to do it over again.

inexpensive hotel near meeting placePosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: price and location
Cons: room was musty and very hot. AC needed to be turned on before. There was no hot water
Location: just happened to have a meeting
The hotel was fine for the price but there was no hot water which was very frustrating at any price.

3rd Room worked out.Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The first room had a Extremely unbarable loud air conditioner when we turned it on. The old Refrg didn't work. (We reserved a ground) The Assistant Manager said no other ground floor rooms available for 3 nights. They were promised for Friday & Sat. nights. She had us look at a room on the 2nd floor. Air conditioner & Refrg. not as bad but stairs were an issue for my husband. I said Look we need a ground floor room. Why save rooms for people not coming tonight. I would think you would want customers that are here for 3 nights We should be given a ground floor room with a working air cond. Your maintenance has a day to fix the air cond in room 140 before someone else checks into it. The 3rd room we looked at was fine and we stayed our 3 nights. We shouldn't have to argue to get what we Advanced Paid for and reserved. After all that, the Assistant Manager turned out to be a really nice woman. The bedspreads need replacing in all 3 rooms we saw. I couldn't get hot water for a morning shower. Due to low occupancy they had to turn water on to pull hot water from the other end of the hotel to our room so we could shower. Said when they are booked up it's not a problem. So why then was it so hard to give us a ground floor room?

OK for the moneyPosted Aug 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was dated but clean. There wasn't very much water pressure in shower and the blanket had cigarette burn marks even though the room was non-smoking. Overall, the price was right and the room was quiet.

Hojo's glory days are no morePosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We chose the hotel because we needed a place to rest before moving on. The place is old and needs updating. I liked the small kitchenete (no microwave). The place was relatively clean and the the staff was friendly and accomodating but their "continental breakfast" was basically toast and coffee. I would stay there again only if I could not find another location.

Will not be returningPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Did not enjoy my stay at all. The AC was off when I entered both rooms I reserved. When I went to use the restroom, there was a small roach along the door frame. Either room did not smell pleasant. To top it off, the AC never cooled the room down (turned on High and cool). It remained humid and hot. I had to crack open the window. I also expected queen beds for double bed rooms as all other hotels have. This was the very first hotel I stayed in that had full sized beds. Very uncomfortable. I paid almost $300 for 2 rooms that I only stayed in for a few hours due to a late check in. The man at the desk around 5AM said there was nothing he could do, except to let my family and I check out at 12PM instead of 11AM. The only pleasant experience I had was the woman on staff that set up the breakfast room that morning. She was very nice.
