The airport shuttle is available from 5 AM to 8 PM.
The SeaWorld shuttle (surcharge) is available at 10 AM for departure and 5 PM for pick-up.
The MCRD shuttle is available on graduation activity days only. On Thursday (Departure 7 AM or 9 AM - Pick up 5 PM or 6 PM). On Friday (Departure 6:30 AM or 8:30 AM - Pick Up 11:30 PM or 12:30 PM).
For all shuttles, reservations are required one day prior to arrival. For pick-up at the airport, please call the hotel directly when you arrive using the number on the reservation confirmation received after booking.

“I've stayed at much better places.”

The room is not in the best condition. Needs updated. Dirty floors. The second day we were not left any cups, towels or washcloths.

“Better than I expected”

I found this hotel through Expedia and the price was really cheap. I booked it only having a little reservations about what quality I would be getting. However, my family and I were quite surprised. The room was clean and spacious. The girl at the front desk was nice and well accommodating.

“Would stay here again”

These was a nice place to stay. The location was near lots of stores and restaurants and not far from SeaWorld and Zoo. Would stay here again once I have chance to go back to SD.

“Very good option”

I was surprised with this hotel. It is very good located, near Sea World and Old Town. It is also close to downtown and even Coronado Island. They provide a complimentary breakfast and shuttles to Sea World. The room was very clean and good. I guess it is a very good option.

Area recommendations

San Diego is a very nice place. Hot and full of energy. You can visit one of the best Zoos in the world and also Sea World and Disneyland. Old Town is a pleasent place to walk, shopping and dining. I strongly recommend it.

“Very convenient hotel.”

This hotel was very convenient for my boyfriend and I because we are only 19 yrs. old and it was basically the only hotel that would take us. However the front desk people were very friendly. We were able to check in early, and they also REALLY helped us out with shuttle services to Knotts Berry Soak City Waterpark. Because of our age we weren't able to rent a car so the shuttle helped us out a lot. Walgreens, In and out, starbucks, target, and other stores were within walking distance. It is also not too far from Old Town station, which takes you to other parts of San Diego. Our hotel room was very clean! The only thing that was annoying was that pizza places kept putting advertisement cards under our doors and into our rooms everyday that we stayed. They have a nice little mexican restaurant right next to the hotel and the food was delicious. The pool is VERY small, and the complimentary breakfast was okay. This hotel is awesome for its price and great for anyone who is 18+.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast left much to be desired. Cereal, boiled eggs, waffles. The location was not good, busy street plus airport noise. I assumed Howard Johnson at Sea World meant close to Sea World not airport, silly me. Had a nice Mexican restaurant next door, but nothing else close by. It would be fine for a one night stay.

“Seedy part of town!”

We counted 3 nudey bars within a 3 block radius of this hotel. The corridors are exterior so as soon as you walk out your room you're outside, which is fine, except when there is a homeless man digging through the garbade right in front of your door! The staff was pretty good and the cleanliness ok but the surrounding area was a bit seedy for me!!! Also, it's right off a major highway and the airport is right up the street. No sound proof glass in these rooms. We heard everything!
