“Great old school hotel”

Great location. Great views. This was our first time staying at the hotel. It's not the newest hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable.

“Charming Hotel Getaway on the Marina”

The hotel is located on the marina and we were pleasantly surprised at its rather secluded location in San Diego. The large palm trees, landscaping and interesting metal sculpture in the front of the hotel gave us a terrific first impression with a tropical feel. We stayed in a jr.suite/with a water view.. Our room had a view of sailboats on the water and faced a large stage which is used for concerts in the summer. The room was comfortable with a small living room and porch facing the water.The only set back was a toilet that kept running, The hotel quickly, within 10 minute sent someone to put in a new flapper and the problem was fixed within an hour or so. . When strolling to a lovely swimming pool and whirlpool tub, we passed 2 beautiful parrots that live in the trees of the hotel. The landscaping was very charming. Since we were visiting our 2 older sons in San Diego, we decided to go to some popular local restaurants rather than the very expensive excellent one at the hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated to take walks near the water, see local artists and eat at local seafood restaurants. The workout room although very small,had some free weights, 1 stair master, a bike and a somewhat broken eliptical cross trainer that faced the water, so it was still a very pleasant way to exersize. .We will definitely stay here on our next trip to San Diego.

“Perfect Location”

Great Location. Beautiful gardens. Donna the Concierge was very helpful when we had a problem with our car rental. Shuttle from the airport was very quick. Great to sit by the pool and listen to Steve Winwood. Cant wait to go back!

“San Diego's Best Hotel!”

Humphrey's Half Moon Inn and Suites was a beautiful upscale hotel for an amazing price!! Spacious rooms and suites. Plenty of room for my husband, myself and our 3 teenagers. Shelter Island is the perfect location to get around San Diego, the attractions and beaches. We will definitely come back and stay.

“Tropical Gem”

Recently renovated rooms are modern and meticulously maintained. Extremely comfortable beds. Pool with surrounding tropical landscaping (loved the macaws & koi fish) was a great place to relax. Lounge with live entertainment was a big plus. We will recommend to friends & family and hope to come back next year.

“San Diego's Best”

The location was perfect for our vacation… Sea World was just a short distance as was down town San Diego and Old Town. We had a problem with the A/C unit and they had someone on it in a flash with no other problems. Thanks, dh

Our room was very clean,the service was great,and the food was great. We enjoyed the pool and the view of the bay.

A unique hotel in that it is also a concert venue. The room was extremely comfortable with a great view of the garden area. The restaurant was of the best quality and the marina area location, a very relaxing atmosphere.

“Loving San Diego”

Humphrey's Half Moon Bay Inn is not only in a great location, but the hotel itself is gorgeous. It makes you feel as if you are in Hawaii. The rooms are clean and comfortable, plus elegantly decorated. The hotel is located on the bay within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also whether you go to the concerts at the hotel or just sit on your balcony to hear the music from your room, it is always a great music artist and fun night. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

“Very nice”

Pool was nice. Disappointeed that pool bar was not open in April. Plenty of room, nice location. Concierge very helpful and friendly.
