Great location in Del Mar. solid 4 star. Elevator was broken which was a bit inconvenient. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly.

Room service was sparse. Over the top and beyond expensive. Food was creative in restaurants but almost never cooked right. Medium rare steak came out medium …..second time it came out medium decided not to send it back a third time lobster bisque came out cold sent it back. Most annoying thing was size of the bathroom is minuscule and the room service menu just was unacceptable. I would’ve liked a pot of coffee available or a pot of hot cocoa in the mornings .The coffee shop was almost always closed whether it was 10 in the morning or four in the afternoon. The valet service was superior. I had to ask five times where the ice machine was and finally called and she told me to go get it myself on the second or third floor. That was ridiculous. I would not come back. The prices are over the top and you’re not getting the value for the price. If you want the experience that’s fine but I’m not spending $5000 for four days for an experience where everything is priced four times what it should be.

We were given the room right off the hotel's entrance/driveway. There is a lot of street noise, and no point to using the balcony. The air conditioning did not work, and we had to file a noise complaint due to the craziness of someone's kids upstairs. The restaurant was very nice for breakfast, and the property was quite nice. Just for that price point, I expected a little more.

Valet men were hardworking and very efficient! Vibrant lobby/ bar scene. Always exciting. This review could’ve been over the top. However. We had drinks at the bar around 9:30pm in a sat night and the short bartending staff was overwhelmed and 2 mix drinks was a almost a 30 min wait. Although the manager comped the drinks. As a management of the hotel, you could’ve doubled your revenue in that 30 mins if properly staffed. Overall, it was a lovely hotel and stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L’auberge. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant on site was delicious!!. My only negative comment is that the rooms are a little dated for a resort of this caliber. We plan to come back in the future!

Loved our experience. One note, hostess at restaurant was not that accommodating. Said restaurant was finished seating at 8:45, when it stated on site it closed at 9. we were a party of 2. Was not friendly or wanting to help. Had to ask a manager and they finally seated us.

I liked the resort, stuff, restaurant inside the resort Adelaida was amazing, pool area not to big but comfy, only thing was not so good a beach, there is beach but not private, but again 5-7minutes to walk , otherwise everything was amazing!

L'Auberge Del Mar is a wonderful getaway!! The staff was so welcoming & nice, which really set our babymoon off to a great start. The area is super walkable with a number of cute shops & restaurants. The hotel also has live music on weekends, which was a wonderful touch!
