Will come again

Pros: Very nice free breakfast with a good variety of food. Can't beat the roof top breakfast with a fantastic view. Fantastic coffee.
Cons: A tv in the bedroom. Apart from that we loved our stay and our beachfront suite
Location: Everything is within walking distance, beach with seals, dinning, shopping, great location!
Very clean rooms & genuinely nice staff. Close to the beach and dinning.

Close to beach; great walking access to downtown

Staff quickly provided us with a roll-away bed & extra towels when requested. Sofa bed mattress had stains and was old (could feel springs). No AC but ok because it wasn't hot that weekend. Great view.

Pros: Close proximity to the beach.
Cons: Jacuzzi didn't work, breakfast was below average, but I can't complain to much. La Jolla is beautiful!!!!
Location: Great little shops, restaurants, amazing to go on a night stroll throughout the little shops then walking to the beach it was beautiful! I love the sea
Overall it wasn't super bad. The room was clean but it wasn't great. Can't complain with the ocean view and the close proximity to the beach (that was lovely)! Makes me want to move there!!!

Great Time !!!!!

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Everything....
Cons: There is some cosmetic work that could be done on outside of building around the balcony railing....
Location: 5 minute walk to food places and across the street from the beach....
We stayed in Room 141 which was a 2-Queen Bed Suite......This is not the Hilton Hotel.....It is a little dated and could use a little work here and there . But it was a good , clean room....The view was great albeit there was a pelican that frequently visited the balcony......Staff was very friendly and helpful ....We have no complaints......We saw the Sea Lions but did not smell them until we walked to the beach area.....

Great location but lacking at hotel

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Saving grace was location and rooftop view and breakfast. Kind of shocking when got into room and realized no air conditioning at all. Very hot and stuffy, if I would have know this I would have upgraded to at least an ocean view or choosen another hotel

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything, includinng service the young man at the front desk at night is rude beyond beliefg
room was so small you could barely walk around the queen size bed. no ac, just a cheap little fan, bathroom the size of a broom closet, shower decrepid. so bad it shocks me they can claim to have a 3.6 star rating. avoild la jolla suites at all costs it will just make you mad.
