All staff members were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast that is more than just a continental type. Coffee is always available throughout the day.
Cons: I cannot think of a thing.
Location: Handy stairs up to town, or you can walk around a different way. No need to ever move the car if you are able to walk.
My daughter and I had reserved separate rooms due to my snoring. Mine was to be on the ocean, hers in the back. Her room was ready when we arrived extra early. There appeared to be some sort of mix up, as we didn't get into my room until nearly an hour after check in time. I was upgraded to a suite type room which was unexpected, but well worth the inconvenience of a late occupancy. They were very apologetic about the problem. The end result was well worth it. Being right on the water, the hotel is so convenient to town and anywhere we wished to go. My daughter already plans to go back for her anniversary and I have already talked a friend into going for her birthday celebration. It is a lovely place to spend a relaxing few days.

Nice Hotel in a good location.

Pros: The location, the view of the ocean and the breakfast spot on the roof.
The breakfast spot on the roof was lovely in the morning. The main bed was very comfortable. The fold out couch was a little tired, although the couch was fine when folded up. We loved the walks along the shore right outside the door and the easy access to restaurants, shopping and the museum.

note what we expected once we arrived....

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: breakfast
Cons: parking
Location: the walkway across the street was nice...with the sea lions and birds, etc....put once again parking was awful....
not what we expected....had to pay for parking....our truck could not enter the under tunnel to get to parking....rooms were very small....and for a handicap individual...bathrooms were way too small.....noisy...you could hear every door opening at 3 a.m. and people coming and going all night.... we had asked for a king size, we received a queen size... breakfast was very nice on the 5th floor...with the outside deck you could sit and eat....and breakfast was very well prepared...

Ocean view

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Ocean view
Cons: Maid service, breakfast, update rooms
Location: Across from small beach. Restaurants within walking distance
The only good thing was we had an ocean view from our room. Staff was friendly but our reservation was for 5 and we had a 2 bedroom suite and we only had enough towels for 3 people. We asked the maid on our 2nd day to leave extra towels but again she only left 3 so everyday we were going down to the front desk to ask for more towels. Hotel was old and in need of updates. Felt the price was high for the condition of the rooms. Free breakfast came with the room but was not appealing.

Horrible Hide-A-Bed

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Location is great and the staff is friendly, but the manager failed twice to follow-up on a problem with the hide-a-bed mattress. It was old and extremely uncomfortable.

Great location - expect noise

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Your room location will make a difference - ocean front is great but noisy, and can be smelly depending on the wind direction - and a bit pointless if you are on the ground floor like we were. The pool is great, the location is great, the staff is awesome.

No date changes

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Overall the stay was not bad however on the first attempt to book the hotel I put in the wrong dates. When I went to change it I was not able to and had to rebook. This was months in advance. Tried contacting the hotel to discuss but no response back. I was charged twice so it was an expensive stay. I would stay again except for no itinerary change option.

The room I stayed in was 399.00 (busy weekend) per night which did not include the 20 dollars for parking which was only one space per room. The hotel felt really old and more like a motel. I stayed on the first floor which had a really good view of construction.

Perfect location

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Best location . Thin walls . Breakfast is good enough. We ate by the pool every night while The kids swam. The BBQs are perfect or we got take out from Gerard Bakery or Pearl St Pizza. You don't need shoes to go the beach it's that close. Staff is so nice!
