Breakfast and pool not great!!!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
I stayed w my husband and two kids. First the parking lot too small, the room was ok despite of the carpet that was dirty, not enough toilet paper, the toiletries only 2 soap and 1shampoo. No Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. The pool wasn't that great either, first was too far from our room, hidden between the two buildings. The breakfast, wow, only waffles and bread, I stayed in cheaper hotels and even they had scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Also coffee and juice had a funny after taste, yuck!

Great location for Zoo

Everything was very nice except the bed. Bed was very soft and lumpy. I would recommend putting the breakfast in a larger toom.

Not worth the price

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Small parking stalls. Big trouble for full size cars Air conditioner was not working in 2 separate rooms Room smelled like insecticide General run down appearance Half sized bed pillows. Unacceptable I heard every plodding footstep from the guests in the room above me. Expect to be woken by anyone using a bathroom in your vicinity. Walls are paper thin. This is a $79 motel posing as something else.

Nice for families with dogs

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: No extra fee for our dog, no limit on size as well.
Cons: Breakfast could have had a better selection. Maybe some yogurt, eggs, breakfast potatoes, ect.
Location: Close to everything your family would like to do while in SD.
Needed a place that took pets close to the beach, this place was perfect. No extra fee forour dog, nice casual room. Rooms were nice and comfortable, perfect for our stay.

Large, inexpensive [relatively] hotel near town

Posted Jul 21, 2014
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, our room was in good shape. The location of the hotel was excellent - right by the freeway that was close to all the tourist spots in San Diego and the airport and downtown.

Close to family.

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Location was great, easy on/off freeway access. Close to good restaurants.
Cons: Room in need of updating.
Location: Great location by restaurants and shopping.
Room was old and in need of updating. It overlooked a car lot. We were only there for one night, meeting family before driving back to Phoenix. I would not have wanted to stay another night.
