Hotel was great from check in till check out.We were on the 31st floor, views of the boats, baseball ground & the City amazing at night. The room had everything we needed. As you walk out the back of the hotel there is the marina, shops, restaurant & beautiful water views. A short walk away there is the U.S. midway which is a must to visit. The valet guys are excellent. There is a Cheese cake factory across the road from the hotel .We would liked to stay a bit longer but hope to return in the future

Fantastic views

Pros: Everything
Location: Very close to the harbour with lots of good restaurants and shops. Sea World just a short taxi ride away
Loved the view from my room (28th floor) and from the top of the tower where there is a lounge bar (40th floor). They offered an upgrade on our room for very little extra and it was well worth it. The concierge was especially helpful.

Nice hotel at very convenient location

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: 1) impressive view and spacious room 2) friendly staff 3) close to trolley and public transportation
Cons: Very dusty desks surface, obviously has not been wiped down for more than 1 wk. We stayed for 1 week, all towels used up, no replaced until request.
Location: 5 min walk from trolley station, walkable to Convention Ctr, Seaport Village, Gaslamp downtown, beach, Midway Museum, Star of India.....
1) impressive view and spacious room 2) front desk staff are very friendly but way too busy, no time to greet customers with a warm smile. But they are all very helpful and very efficient 3) Called operator, they greeted me by my first name, very personal touch 4) Dine at Sally's on the water and Top of Hyatt, amazing dining experience 5) also excellent tapas hours on Sally's, very satisfying

Couldn't have stayed at a better Hotel 10/10

Pros: Location on the bay, quality of the rooms, the facilities, excellent gym 2 pools, Jacuzzis, tennis, basketball and kids areas, dining looked good (we
Cons: For us 0 out of 10 in the Hotel. The car parking was expensive but in line with the area - free car parking would improve,
Location: Location by the bay was superb and only a short walk to Gaslamp area and the bars and restaurant's
My wife and I visited Las Vegas, La Quinta (Palm Springs) and finally San Diego for 10 days in April. The last 5 days at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego (to celebrate her 50th). I can say without reservation this hotel, the staff and the level of service is the best we have experienced in our many visits to the USA and our 5th visit to San Diego. The room was spotless the facilities excellent and the staff helpful, friendly and unpretentious. The facilities are excellent with a main pool and an adult pool (we used the adult pool to avoid the kids) and a very well equipped fitness facility with a good selection of free weights and cv equipment. Location by the bay was superb and only a short walk to Gaslamp area and the bars and restaurant's. Although the car park was $30 a night it was comparable with most of the other car parking in the area and if you're driving I recommend you invest in it for convenience. We will definitely use this hotel again,

Really convenient for the Gaslamp District. A little noisy on the courtyard side but it was Spring Break.

Excellent downtown location. Close to everything but still quiet and avoids the worst of the traffic.

Great stay. Great location

Pros: Everything about this hotel was great.
Location: Walk out the back door of the hotel and you are in seaport village.
We stay here every year. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are the cleanest anywhere. The location (right next to Seaport Village) is perfect. The coffee shop has great coffee and bagels.
