Beautiful

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, staff and location
Cons: Variety on the menu (room service and Sally's)
Location: USS Midway Museum, Gas lamp district, "the kiss" statute, Convention Center, convenient to many local shops and restaurants
We chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary in San Diego at the Manchester. It was a wonderful decision. The hotel was beautiful. Our view was facing the USS Midway. We enjoyed the view so much we did not close the shade the entire weekend. The staff was welcoming. The room service staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. I wish Sally's (restaurant) had more variety on the menu. We will definitely stay there again.

Right at Seaport Village with many restaurants close by. Walking distance to Gas Lamp Quarter. Transit right across the street. Staff are very helpful. Great place to stay.

Beautiful Experience

Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: Beautiful facility, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Prices for food and drink are pretty high.
Location: Beautiful location on the harbor/bay! Centrally located to all kinds of fun stuff to do.
We stayed 4 days at the Manchester and loved it. We had a bay view room on the 32'nd floor and the view was amazing. The room itself was very nice, not amazing, but very nice, and the rest of the hotel was stunning. Prices for food and drink are pretty high, example: 16oz Diet Coke from the convenience store was $3.75 and would have been $1.00 down town, and the breakfast buffet was $26.00 / pp,. You expect some of that in a place as nice a s the Hyatt, but even at that it seemed a bit over priced. The Concierge, and all of the desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here any time we get a chance!
