Excellent value!Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: The location was very convenient for my needs, and the price worked well for my budget.
Cons: The towels and linens are of the bargain-basement variety. Improving these comfort items would be a plus for customer satisfaction.
Location: This Motel 6 is a short drive southeast of Oceanside, and not too far from everything worth doing in San Diego.
This Motel 6 provides above-average rooms at below-average prices. It is in a rather secluded area, which certainly helped in keeping the noise down. The rooms were impressively large, with comfortable furnishings, albeit minimal. This is a perfect room for someone travelling through, or someone looking for easy access to Oceanside/San Diego and not willing to pay premium prices closer to the city (like me).

BreakfastPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The location. It is away from Main Street which means no noise.
Cons: The space where you keep your luggage can be upgraded to a closet.
Location: We had no problem looking for stores, Gas stations, etc. Guests should be careful when exiting the hotel as cars can't be seen easly from the right.
The hotel would have been more attractive if it had a conventional breakfast.

You pay what you getPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The name of the hotel we booked was called Americas Best Value Inn Vista. When we arrived, the name of the hotel had been changed to Motel 6. Our GSP showed the right address but the name was changed without notice us. And, it suppose included the breakfast. Since it changed the ownership, it no longer offered breakfast. We required to find restaurant to eat. Besides, there is no hair dryer, no shampoo and not enough towels.

Now a motel 6Posted Jul 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I took all sorts of grief from my family on this one. My mother has a bias against motel 6 and when we booked this it was a Best Value Inn. As a result of switching to Motel 6 its costs went down but we already paid in advance at the previous higher price. This is a bare-bones hotel which appears to be undergoing significant construction. There is no breakfast, there are paint splatters on the lamp fixtures and there is an overall feeling of clutter around the property. On the plus side, the rooms are probably the biggest you will encounter in any Motel 6 nationwide. But their furnishings are scant at best with non-carpeted floors. There was only one chair in the room and no lamps by the beds. The pool was nice though. In short, this is clearly a hotel in transition. If you are looking for a decent, cheap hotel in Vista there aren't many choices. Wait and see if they come out on top when they are done with their changeover.

Under construction!Posted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
First off, this is now a Motel 6 and they are under construction! Our room had a new queen sized bed and an old double. They had no clock or phone or kleenix box. They had something looking like a desk with no chair. The cabinet the TV was in was falling apart and there were outlets that we falling out of the wall. There was no "continental breakfast" that was supposed to be at America's Best Inn. So needless to say we were not very happy staying here - I don't know why Hotels.com did not notify us about this change in hotel. They said that this "change" happened 2 weeks ago - when I was booking this trip!
