Beautiful Hotel and amenities right on the beachfront. All of the staff we encountered were very generous from the valet parking attendant, front desk staff, maintenance, breakfast attendant, to security; they represented the property really well and gave some good tips of where to eat and what to do in the area. We appreciated all of the help and feedback which made our stay even better. There were also beach chairs, toys, and boogey boards to use for the beach near the back gate of the hotel to exit to the walk area towards the beach. Convenient breakfast in the downstairs lobby or breakfast options nearby if you prefer expresso drinks, etc. The only thing I wish they had was a gym. The pool and hot tub area was great to get some exercise along with the walk to the Mission beach area towards Belmont park (carnival area) which is about 1.3miles walk. Great for sunset walking or morning sunrise walking. Overall, we really liked staying at this hotel because of friendly staff and location. Thank you for making our stay amazing!

Perfect location right on the beach! Nicely updated decor. Easy, fast valet parking. Breakfast options and coffee were very basic though.

There were numerous dance clubs around the property. It can get a bit noisy in the late evening. It didn’t bother us, but if you were sensitive to these things, beware of the drunk spring breakers.

We loved our stay at Ocean Park Inn. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The location was very centralized and the ocean view was amazing . The staff was super friendly and were very helpful. The only thing I would recommend is that they switch up breakfast. It’s included in your stay which is great, but it was the same exact thing every day. Would highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to go back!

The beach front location was so convenient. The sliding doors from my room out onto the pool area was so awesome. The shower off area just inside the pool area, accessed from the beach side was so useful to clean the sand off. The only two complaints I have are the lack of microwave in the room, and the rooms were very noisy. I could hear the breakfast and lobby area from inside my room all night long. I was woken up throughout the night, and definitely was up by 0630.

I loved my stay here. The rooms had complementary beach towels, which was very impressive. the room was clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The beach is just steps away and there are plenty of spots to eat within walking distance. I did venture off to the Gaslamp Quarter area to try a few bars/ restaurants and went to a museum.

Of course as you’re a public beach you have to consider the traffic and types of people around. But overall a great spot to be if you’re you and old to get to many places. Cute little down to earth hotel in the middle of all the action and the amazing Beach! We had small-ish kids and still enjoyed easily the area. Hotel area is cool and hip and fun and not at all “stuffy”. Fun place to come visit!

We felt this was such a special place to stay in San Diego. It was so relaxing with the ocean and boardwalk views. So many options to eat and very walkable. We stayed during off season so parking was not a problem in the evenings. One thing was the free breakfast, I passed on this due to taste but that alone does not deter me from staying here again and again when visiting. It’s the perfect place to stay! I hope everyone gets the chance and try to book for an ocean view. It’s worth it!!

The view of the ocean was spectacular! Walkable to the board walk, shops, and dinning. The property had a box of sand toys, beach chairs that was awesome to use and much appreciated. Breakfast is buffet style and had a variety of options. Pool and hot tub outside. The hotel has discounted ticket to the zoo and sea life. Overal 5/5 experience and traveled with two kids. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back.

Hotel was nice - great location and very walkable for Pacific Beach nightlife. Staff were helpful but could have been a bit more friendly - like greeting guests with smiles and saying hello.

Really enjoyed this hotel. It was right on the boardwalk, so the location was perfect. It was cute and clean and perfect for our trip. Had all the amenities we needed and was close to restaurants and shops. Easy to get to and go out to explore other areas. Didn’t interact much with the staff but they were friendly. The hot tub and pool were great, overall it was a good hotel and I’d like to stay here again!
