Great LocationPosted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Location in La Jolla is the best and a fair price for what you get. The staff is super friendly. They offer breakfast with your stay.
Cons: We did not get our room serviced after the first day.
Location: This is located across a small street from a park that is right on the Ocean. You can hear the waves crashing at night from your room. You can walk.
This hotel is right across the street from the park and ocean. It is the best place in La Jolla. I have stayed here on several occasions.

Nice room with ocean view.Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: The view, the staff and the cleanliness.
The room and staff were excellent. NOT a negative, but worth mentioning that the bath was small and the balconies were shared, but separated by a railing. Beautiful view more than made up for the tight quarters.

Outstanding facility and personnel!Posted Jun 1, 2015
Location: See above comments
Our three night stay at the Pantai Inn was outstanding from the moment we checked in to our checkout. The personnel and facilities were outstanding! Very quiet (other than the sound of waves crashing on the beach) and a very easy walk to all many excellent restaurants and shops. The self-serve breakfast was very good with a varied menu. Room 208 was outstanding!!

Memorial Day getawayPosted May 25, 2015
Upon arriving I was a little confused about exactly where to park around the hotel but once I walked up the entrance the staff made the rest of the trip a breeze. It's uncommon for a hotel ataff to be so personable. The ample parking, gorgeous views, and amenities makes this a great hotel for a couples getaway or a family vacation.

We stayed with our daughter, her husband and young grandson in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. It had a large dining room and living room, and full kitchen. It is just steps from the ocean and the wonderful paved walk along the shore, and one block from the main shopping area of La Jolla. Great location! Hot and cold breakfast items appeal to all ages and tastes, with both indoor and outdoor patio, both with terrific views of the ocean. Or you can put your breakfast item on a try and take them to your room. There is coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times, as well as fruit. Also cookies later in the day. Very friendly and attentive staff. We rented a port a crib and it was all set up when we arrived. We have stayed here before and we will return.

Great LocationPosted Apr 29, 2015 on Hotels
The location was spectacular, steps from the ocean, with a park, seal cove, gorgeous sunsets. Breakfast was a full breakfast, in a beautiful room, go upstairs for a better view of the ocean. My room was a non ocean view, cheaper than most rooms at the property, but the common areas were very inviting, with plenty of places to sit outside to appreciate the ocean views. My room's refrigerator was very noisy. It was a nice option to have a full kitchen, though there are so many fabulous restaurants within walking distance, didn't feel the need to cook. The bed was not comfortable, the pillows hard, did not sleep well, which is unusual for me. So, overall, my individual room was just okay (large, with nice amenities, but uncomfortable for the reasons described above), but the hotel as a whole was wonderful, great staff, remembered my name, very pleasant, beautiful common areas. And can't beat the location.

Romantic GetawayPosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
I booked the room for my wife and I to get away for the weekend. We both love the La Jolla area, and this room was great. The staff was very friendly, views were amazing and the bathroom/Jacuzzi were awesome! The rooms are cozy but are functional. We are already talking about our next trip.
