“beautiful resort”
This hotel and it's grounds are beautiful--perfect for groups and families. Disagree with resort fee--those items are not used much by most. Pools were too cold--one was ok. This hotel, should be full--even off season. It is not during the week.
“Select something better”
Over priced and the room smelt very musty. All units on ground floor like a motel, with glass sliders. I felt very unsafe.
“Great resort!”
Great place to stay while in San Diego.
“It was a very enjoyable stay”
When we arrived we were in awe of the tropical feel of the place. They upgraded us at no extra charge to a beautiful suite. We only ate breakfeast at the resort, but the food was very good. I would recomend this resort.
“paradie review”
Overall, resort hotel did not meet my expectations for the price. While the room had nice furnishings and was clean, it seemed two-thirds renovated. Found two silverfish bugs in the bathroom, where tile and moldings appeared old and tired. Refrigerator was loud enough to wake you up when it kicked in. Also, I was surprised that there was no concierge service when I needed help finding an area destination - and the line to the check-in desk was long, so no help from those folks. On the positive side: very friendly staff and great food, especially at the upscale restaurant. Terri K.
“Paradise Point”
Great hotel with individual bungalows. Great peace and quiet, comfortable rooms. The only disappointment was the food at the Barefoot Bar and Grill was bland and not satisfying. The staff was wonderful and the resort beautiful. We would stay there again, for sure.
“Great location”
The hotel is in a great location. However the rooms are aged considerably. Ours didin't have a digital thermostat to control temperature. The dinner at Baleen was amazing. However, the breakfast the next morning left much to be desired. Slow negligent service. Not sure we would chose to come back even thou it's right next to SeaWorld (where we went). By the way, $50 extra fees at check-in per night is also not cool.
“Paradise point”
Very nice place to stay
“The Perfect Romantic Retreat”
We arrived two hours early for check in and they did not even mentioned it. We were taken to our suite with no hassle, and even got a $25 hotel credit! It is extremely convenient to the airport, although it certainly does not feel like you are too close to the noisy planes or exposed to airport traffic. The room was so charming. It felt like an island paradise. The grounds were meticulously kept. If we return to San Diego, we will definitely return to Paradise Cove! Loved it!
“Home away from home”
...if my home had a pool within 10 feet of my bungalow and maid service! I want to make this a yearly excursion. I only want to stay there.
