Not so Quality

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Room was clean, but the rest of the facility was horrible! The elevator was scary loud and slow and the other clientele was questionable. I don't know that the night security guard may me feel any safer- the fact that they needed that speaks volumes!

Every Comfort Needed is Here !

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Fridge, Microwave, coffee maker, TV, KING Bed, Hot Tub, and DOG Friendly ! + Continental breakfast.
Cons: Construction Maint. upkeep outside. Plus there was a hole in the our wall where the door knob had hit previously. Elevator was a little scary too.
Location: Good Location. Close to Freeway.
Friendly Front Desk. Best Hotel for the price. had every comfort we enjoy. Fridge, Microwave, coffee maker, TV, KING Bed, Hot Tub, and DOG Friendly ! DEFINITELY going to stay here again. Con: Trolley noise in back BUT the trolley STOPS running late at night so we Still Slept Good.

The Stench of Smoke

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Staff was polite and accomodating.
Cons: The hotel was horribly dirty and foul with cigarete smoke.
The first room I was assigned had such an extreme stench of smoke that I didn;t even want to take my things inside. The clerk was very apologetic and quickly assigned my to a new room which also reaked of smike but not quite so badly. People were out in the hallway smoking next to ash trays and it was clear that this hotel was home to people who smoked regularly. Although the staff was very pleasant and accomodating, there was no relief from the stench and the breakfast was inadequate.

Pros: The pool seemed clean though everything was tired looking.
Cons: Everything
Location: The location was advertized as being near the San Diego Convention Center which is why we booked it. It is at least a 30-40 minute drive away.
The room was supposed to have a fridge and microwave. The furniture was old, the headboards dusty and none of the advertised amenities were present. The staff at night could not understand us very well though he tried to be helpful. The staff was helpful when we said we were not staying offering to put us in a room with the amenities, which we should have had to begin with. The carpet in the elevator had gang signals carved into it.

First off we checked in and they have us the wrong room went down and they corrected it, second the hot tub stop working and the pool filtration and maintenance was not very good there was diet accumulated on the boron of the pool and it had way too much chlorine. Then we get back to our room to find out we got locked out key didn't want to open the door anymore I would pay the extra 50 dollars and stay at the holiday Inn down the street.

My experience is not good. After I checked in to my room, I smelt something bad in it. Later the night, I looked into the top of the TV stand, I found a large pizza. The hotel smells pretty bad overall.

Convenient and adequate accommodations

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Nice clean convenient place for the needs and purpose of my one night stay. While the room was excellently clean and the bed was fabulous, there was no available outlet at the desk, so the lamp could not be turned on and there was nowhere to plug in the computer or recharge the phone except for the outlet next to the sink in the bathroom area or on the floor next to the front door. Also there was a conecting door between rooms that someone kept trying to open from the other side and I could hear the argument going on next door. I did feel safe though partly because (especially after the first time) I believe it was children trying to open the door which was locked.
