“smallest room ever”

I have never seen a smaller room - two dble beds barely fit in, and left very little room to move around - glad we were only staying overnight. price was good, and hotel was convenient for what we needed.

“Convenient and quaint”

The hotel is not the best looking hotel but once you get inside the room they were very nice. If your going for a short stay or want to be by the pier and not too far away, or want to pay an arm and a leg this is the place to go. It's within walking distance of everything major in oceanside.

“Good for 1-night Only”

We stayed 2-nights while visiting Legoland. We paid over $$$/night which was way too high for this 1 or 2 star hotel. The rooms are very small, but clean. The staff is very nice. The free breakfast is good. The heated pool is small (and was not heated). Overall, this is a good place to stay for one night, if you can get a room for $$/night.

“Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.”

The room was so small we could not move around to much. The bathroom had black mold around the sing directly behind the facuet. And around the shower door.

“Excellent for the price”

Was very happy to find a bed spread that gets washed, all linen was clean. Checked for bed bugs, no bugs at all! Carpet was old and could stand to be replaced, but it was clean. Breakfast was nice and had lots of choices. Best value! Staff was very helpful and friendly! I'll be using it again for sure!

“Rooms too small”

When we arrived, the first issue was that the carpets didn't look clean - seemed like it was moldy with water damage, but they didn't have a different room vacant. The other issue was that the sliding glass door to the closet was broken, thankfully they fixed it the next day. But maybe these were only my problems. But there is no escaping the issue that the rooms are too small. There was very little space left with the 2 twin beds in the room. As a family of 4 we couldn't even move around in the room. The bathroom was very small too. And the area is noisy too being adjacent to the busy I-5 on Mission ave exit. Also, the bed linens looked worn and old, but they were clean. But on the bright side, the front desk staff was very courteous and the complementary breakfast was reasonable. At the end of the day, I was willing to overlook the issues because the location was very convenient to Legoland, beaches etc, which was our primary concern.

“It was just fine (short stay).”

Not the nicest Hotel but it was fine for a short stay. Breakfast was great tho'!! Huge variety of things to choose from. My son is stationed at Camp Pendleton so yes, I would come back. The employee's were very nice. Sure, I'd come back (short stay). Comfy beds. Thanx to everyone there........ :)

Area recommendations

Oceanside!!! It was a great little town! Lot's to do too.
