Enjoyed our stay, staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was very spacious, comfortable and well kept. Slept peacefully no noise noticed. Has everything on the hotel grounds . Such as a pool, jacuzzi, great fitness room and restaurant.

My experience

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: I loved how it was located close to both the San Diego Zoo, and the safari park
Cons: better housekeeping, and rollaways. Maybe some kind of compensation for inconveniences.
Kids loved the pool/jacuzzi, the breakfast was great! Loved the food, and the staff!! Loved the down comforters on the beds, instead of standby bedspreads from competition. Room was not clean, dirty beside bed, on floor, and nightstand. Comforter cover dirty, w/ what looked like coffee. front desk sent maintenance man (not housekeeping, it was 8pmish) who replaced w/ another comforter w/ no cover. Expedia advertised room occupancy as 5, when accually it is 4. Don't expect a rollaway, they don't have any. I got a very nice apology, but no satisfaction for fifth person sleeping on floor.

Stay for family get-together

Pros: The quiet environment.
This was a nice hotel for my family. The room was comfortable and quiet. I liked that rooms opened to the parking lot as we could park our car right outside our room.

Hard to Find - Worth the Search

Pros: The Raddison was only about 30 minutes from San Diego proper, close to the freeway and easy to reach.
Cons: The Raddison web site could provide better driving directions to the facility.
Location: Twenty minute drive to San Diego State University
We got lost (no GPS) but Lee the night manager guided us in. Our room was quite large with good quality furniture. The bathroom was small and needed more hooks or towel bars, but the fixtures were high end and attractive. The blackout drapes were a welcome touch and being able to open the window was nice, but there was no window screen. The free breakfast was open until10:30 for week days and 11:00 on the week end. The coffee was wonderful and there was a limited but tasty assortment of hot and cold breakfast items. The restaurant where breakfast was served was also open for lunch and dinner. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous, although the dessert menu was limited. Parking was convenient and plentiful, the fitness room was well equipped and there were two public computers in the lobby. Ask the desk clerk for directions and/or a map if you're going out. The street names tend to be repetitious (St., Way, Ct., Ave., etc.) so it's easy to get lost.

Great hotel in RB's business district

Posted Mar 26, 2014
The front desk staff was very inviting and made sure I had everything I needed upon check-in. There are instructions on how to access the wi-fi at the front desk, but not in the room, so make sure to take notes down (or access other rooms' wi-fi like my friends and I did). You can ask for toothpaste at the front desk as well. When the room was cleaned, there seemed to be a decline in the amount of pillows, but they were actually hidden in the drawers underneath the tv (with extras in the closet). The beds are so comfy though! The continental breakfast ends at 10:30am, but you are allowed to take plates up to your room in case your friends/family couldn't make it down in time. I definitely enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Pros: Parking adjacent to room. Secluded area with trees, breakfast okay, bathroom terrific and staff pleasant.
Cons: The pillows and the breakfast menu.
Location: We were there for a volleyball tournament. Many restaurants and shops nearby.
Staff helpful referring to restaurants in area. Great beds...pillows not so much:( Pleasant surrounding and super convenient!
