Hotel was OK but the amenities were poor. We had 4 rooms and AC did not work and when we asked for fans, we were told that they had only 2. They also told us that we need to talk to the manager who will be available on Monday. However, the Manager did not show up during our 3 days of stay. The property need complete revamp. You will not get what you have actually paid for.

Overall a nightmarePosted Sep 16, 2013
This is our third time staying at this hotel because we go to Chula Vista every summer for a concert. The only reason we go back is because of its location near the venue and the price. We only stay for one night each time and for most of the time we are at the concert. When we arrived the outside was a mess, very dirty with screens falling off the windows. When we went to check in (which took forever even though there were only 2 people in front of us) we were told that they were having problems with the air conditioning. (It was 95 degrees outside). I do understand that things break down so we weren't that upset about that and still decided to stay since it would only be for one night. The people in front of us were extremely rude the man at the check out counter and he did handle them well. He thanked us for being understanding. Room conditions weren't horrible but overall the hotel is a dump. The man did tell us that it had just been purchased by a new owner that was planning renovations that are definitely needed. The worst part was then in the morning we had no hot water. It was horrible. Both times we have stayed at this hotel they have called us early to make us check out which is extremely annoying. We just staying in a room with no air conditioning and hot water and they had to nerve to call us 15 minutes before check out time to inform us they would charge us for another night if we were not out on time.

You get what you pay forPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was the only available hotel in a short period of time, especially on a Labor Day weekend. Rooms are not so clean, lots of patches, outdated, seemed like the the while hotel is being remodeled while being used. The AC was not working, it was hot the whole night. Breakfast was a joke if you call that breakfast at all. Definitely would not come back to this hotel again.

San Diego TripPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: The cleanliness of the room.
Cons: The wi-fi at the 1st floor was really weak. They might want to fix that.
Location: Lot of options for late diner's around at a walk able distance. 805 is pretty close to travel to the San Diego city.
The stay at the hotel was pleasant. The staff was courteous.
A very, very, very big disappointing stay!!Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Continental Breakfast, Pool, Friendly Staff
Cons: Housekeeping and Booking Arrangements
Location: The location was great! A Burger King, Circle K, and Denny's all within walking distance. Legoland was only 45 minutes away. Great!!
This hotel was a very huge disappointment. In the pictures on Expedia, it looked like a decent place, but I will definitely not be recommending this place and even more so, I will be telling everyone I know not to stay here. This place is run-down and dilapidated. My experience: PROS: The staff was really helpful, with what they could help with. They were very courteous and friendly, but were unable to help with my complaints. The Continental Breakfast was pretty decent and the Pool was as well, not bad. CONS: First, I requested a Non-Smoking room. When I got there, I was squeezed into a Smoking room. This right away left a bad taste in my mouth. The attendant was friendly, but was unable to help. I was unable to get a room anywhere else, because we came during Labor Day Weekend. We settled for a Smoking, because there was nothing available in the area at all!! Next, the room was dirty, especially the bathroom. The trash was not empied when we entered the room. The second day that we stayed, when we came back to our room, one of the beds was missing a comforter. At closer look, the comforter was tossed in the corner of the room. The housekeeping was dreadful!! This was a horrible stay with the exception of the Continental Breakfast and Pool. I will not be recommending and even advising others to never rent from this establishment. Point Blank!!!

No Air ConditionerPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
They had to bring me two fans and it was still very hot in the room. At breakfast other guest also complained about the lack of air conditioners.
