One night stay

Posted Aug 11, 2014
What made this stay good was the location. Walking distance to gas lamp district. And the person who did my check in was awesome!!! Very profesional and helpful. This will make me come back again customer service is still important!

We barely made it on time for our flight...otherwise the facility was quiet and friendly.

Top of the Hill

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The Price, Breakfast is good.
Cons: Larger Bathrooms, AC units were Cold but need replacing.
Location: Up hill, need a map because it's on a one way street, there are restaurants close by, little Italy is down the street, and downtown is not far away
It's located near the top of a hill, the walk up is OK, Driving to it is tough, one way streets, you must come from 9th street going North to Ash. Ash is one way west, down hill, make sure you print a map with directions. We were on the West side, Rm 123, lots of sun thru the window, the Breakfast Rm was across the hall, Waffles, Cereal, Bagels, Yogurt, Juices, more of a Motel than a Hotel. The Pier is Close, half a Mile, downtown is the same distance. We walk, so it was a good walk in the morning. A Holiday Inn is Cadicorner to the Red Roof, parking is $16 a nite, we would come again.

Cons: Communication and directions to breakfast room
Location: Can walk to downtown
We were told by one staff that we would not be charged for parking but when we saw our bill, not only were we charged for parking but also for the safe. Called them--they would only remove the safe charge. Said we initialed for the parking. Check your bill!

Pros: Price only
Wifi really did not work in my room, and was really slow, shower pressure but actual towels smelled a bit off.

Horrible beds! So uncomfortable :-(

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Stayed for 3 nights and the beds were so uncomfortable my vacation was horrible because my neck & back hurt so bad from the beds, the staff was nice, the elevator smelled weird, the continental breakfast was good other then the little nats flying around you as you're trying to eat. Nice location, close to everything.

Do not stay here. No running water in shower. Sm

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: All the above
Location: This was not a good experience. Requested bottom floor, was on 3 rd. Like1950! Beds lumpy and noisy. No running water in tub (1/3) tub or shower.
Like1950's. Did not feel safe. Bed lumpy and noisy. No running water in shower or 1/3 size tub. Smelled like smoke.
