Good value

Pros: Location, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Staff could be friendlier.
Location: Centrally located in San Diego
Nice room for 4 adults and a great value in the San Diego area. We were happy with our stay.

There is nothing wrong about this hotel

Pros: Same as above
Cons: Door separating the bedroom could be changed to glass door that can be locked. The breakfast can be altered to include different variety
Location: Location is great and close to everything: church, restaurants (pls do not go to the at Hampton) Walmart, food 4 less, Zion farm market just mins away
Great experience! Breakfast is awesome and we chose an apartment close to the restaurant and swimming pool although we never used it. Parking is free and so is the internet. Hotel is centrally located. We need sport channels on cable so soccer lovers like me can afford to watch EPL

Disappointed

Pros: All the amenities
Cons: Pest control and clean the carpet
Location: 10 - 15 minutes from downtown San Diego but I was unaware of the other Marriott closer to downtown.
Loved the room layout was highly disappointed with the dirty carpet, bug in the bath tub and ordered pizza from the advertisement in the room took 2 hours to receive. Left a message and e-mail management, have not received a call or e-mail back. Plus on top of all that ... they overcharged my credit card!!!

Close to tourists attractions

We stayed for 5 days 4 nights. Everything is good except for the mattress. It's sagging and pretty worn out. It hurts my back. Overall the staff are very nice and the mini kitchen is well equipped.

Nice hotel.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast but limited seating. Relatively close to attractions, 10 - 15 minute drive. Will stay again. Highly recommend.

Nice short family stay

Arrived on a Friday morning with my husband and daughter in tow and was greeted by Tess (I believe that was her name). Tess was very friendly and let us know that our room wasn't quite ready yet and that she would give us a call. Not a problem for us because we were on our way to seaworld anyways. We did recieve a courtesy call and upon arriving back at the hotel the check-in process was fairly quick. Oh yea, and I must mention that they have hot tea and coffee in the front at all times. Our room was awesome, very clean and homey...included a full size fridge with a pitcher, an oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots/pans and dishware. In the morning the free breakfast was delicious and my daughter and I enjoyed making our waffles and "dressing" them up with whipped cream and chocolate chips..yum. They had a variety of food to choose from including oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, bagels...truly a great stay!

We only stayed there two nights, a week apart. We stayed at here when we arrived and left San Diego. In between that we went up to Anaheim and Carlsbad. Of the two night we stayed, we had a nice, comfortable room that included a full kitchen. The ammenities that we appreciated were free parking and complimentary breakfast. Also, they do offer food for dinner on certain days. On Wednesday, we had hamburgers and hot dogs. The staff helping with the cooking was friendly.

Comfortable stay

Close to nice beaches. Nice breakfast. However, the staff is rude enough to start clearing the breakfast items the moment it is 10AM, no matter you are in middle of having breakfast. They refuses to get me the item I wanted, it just hit 10.

If there are guests and food available, we should not be in a race to clear items while our guests are still in the process of serving themselves.
