“Great Hotel!”

From check-in to check-out we had a great time. Perfect location whether you are going for a convention, ball game or just want to party in the gas lamp district . Breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful.

“Great Deal”

- Perfect location and close to Petco Park. - Room was perfectly clean and spacious. - Continental breakfast was great. - We visited friends staying at the Hard Rock Hotel that same weekend and felt our room was much nicer and was probably 1/4 of the cost. - We will most definitely be back!

“Weekend in San Diego”

This was our 2nd time to this hotel in 2 months. We had such a great experience the first time that we booked it again. We booked this hotel mainly for its proximity to Petco Park, which we had visited during both trips. Our rooms were like a mini-suite and had a kitchen, sink, frig, and microwave. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very close to all Gaslamp establishments. It also has a complimentary continental breakfast everyday which is nice. However, the hotel does charge $35 for parking at the hotel (valet only), so be prepared for that. Overall, we really enjoyed the facility and would come here again.

“Great hotel, satisfied”

Standard rooms apparently have a refrigerator, little kitchen with microwave and stove. Plus a roomy shower and bathroom area. I found myself bringing doggie backs from restaurants and putting them in the frig to eat later. Then re-heating on the microwave. Bed was pretty standard, shower had different settings, everything else was by the book. Room and hallway were very clean. Free breakfast was served 6am - 9am, however they had very little food and took a while to refill things like eggs. The bigger people in line grabbing 4 spoonfuls of eggs probably didn't help. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel, and would definitely book it on a return trip. NOTE: My friend stayed at the Motel 6 near this area, and got his laptop stolen inside his locked room. Beware that one, it REALLY ruined his weekend. (I had no issues at all, and left several electronics sitting out)

“The steal of the Gaslamp Quarter”

Yes, this is a Residence Inn, so it's not as flashy as the Hard Rock or the Omni (which are on the next block), but for the price....this place is a steal! The proximity to the stadium and surroudning area is great! Yes, the valet parking is pricey, which I can think is the only drawback to this place. Fairly decent sized kitchen (!) with apartment-sized refrigerator. This place is simply a steal given the location, nice rooms, and free breakfast in the AM!

“The best hotel experience, this hotel worth it.”

Love it, kind people, good breakfast, and clean. The best location in the Gaslamp. Walking distance of almost everything. Beautifull room. Excellent service.

“Great Time in San Diego”

We had a great time in San Diego. We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott San Diego Gaslamp. When I went to the front desk to ask for a map, not only did they give me a map, but told me of all the places to see and eat. and how to get there. They recommended that the local trolley will take you almost anywhere. They even gave a schedule of the trolley. We really enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning.

“Returning!”

This hotel allowed us walking distance all around downtown San Diego. We also dined at a restaurant that the hotel suggested and provided us with free dessert. Even though the service at the restaurant was unsatisfactory, they took our feedback and got in contact with the restaurant and provided us with tons of money in coupons to go back, which we decided to use for drinks one night. The hotel was quiet and comforting and I will be staying there again when I return for my next trip!

“Exceeded expectations”

I would recommend this hotel to annoying planning to visit San Diego and I would definitely want to stay there again in a future visit. Far better than many 5-star quality hotels I've been at, and much more reasonable prices.
