“room comfort”

The air conditioning vents are difficult. They blow like a hurricane or it is stuffy when the fan is turned off.

“Flawless stay.”

From the outside, this hotel is very easy to notice and simply pass by as the location is quite close to the 78 which can get a bit busy, and it doesn't look too big by hotel standards. However, after check in, it was easy to see where the amount we paid for the room was going to. Upon opening the door, both my significant other and I both could only utter a 'Wow'. The value for this modernized hotel room was definately worth the bit extra that we normally budget for accomodations. The room, equipped with a sink and a microwave, was also equipped with a matching dishwasher, full size refridgerator with ice maker, and a 2 burner electric stove. A rather unique floor plan allowed for a cozy living roomish area that was separated from the bed by a rotatable tv that could face the small futonish couch and chair, or the bed to allow for viewing from either side. A bathroom with the lightswitch on the INSIDE of the bathroom was a great change from the usual. In short, friendly staff, free wifi, great breakfast, awesome room, nothing to not to like. Great cozy space for a couple visiting San Marcos.

The hotel is new so the rooms were very nice and super clean. Couldn't ask for better accomodations. The service was also great. The front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly. I'll be staying here again for future business trips.

Nice staff, pool, breakfast. Large rooms. Location is not so good, you have to take the car to find avrestaurant.

Great value. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, The rooms are spacious with many amenities.

Very clean hotel, staff was very nice. Was able to check in before regular check in time which was very nice of the front desk agent ! Will stay here again .

“I would visit again!”

I loved the breakfast buffet. They had many selections including hot food like eggs, sausage and oatmeal. The pool was clean and heated. There was a workout room open 24 hours with televisions on each piece of equipment. The lobby was welcoming and had nooks with their own tv. The kitchen was clean and had appliances. Free wifi was easy to figure out too.

“Nice rooms, Staff was average.”

The hotel and it's rooms are beautiful, especially when you consider that it sits in the middle of an older business/industrial side of the freeway. The staff was pleasant. I did laugh when the front desk manager accused me of getting my last name wrong. "Seriously? Don't you think the chances are better that you misheard it?" It was a bit frustrating that they allowed a loud pool party to go on after 12:00 when the bedrooms were right up against the pool area. Fortunately I was so tired that I slept through. A few other guests complained though.

Everything I expected from a Residence Inn. Our first highrise version, but still very conforting.

“nice hotel”

We stayed two nights. The first night we were kept awake all night long by a tv next door. We could even hear it in the hall. My husband spoke with the front desk. They moved us to a top floor room the next night. We slept very well that night. The hotel was very clean and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast which was included in our stay.
