You get what you pay forPosted Nov 25, 2013
I stayed here for two nights. Continental breakfast was semi-stale muffins and pastries with coffee and juice. My bathroom smelled weird when I arrived and no matter what I did it continued to have a weird smell. Sheets and pillows were clean and the bed was pretty comfy. There were some holes/cracks in the wall but other than that the room was relatively clean. TV stations were sort of fuzzy, but you could still see the picture. If you're a poor college student like I am it's a decent place to stay, but there are other options that would be better.

Old but clean and comfortable, quiet.Posted Sep 29, 2013
Cons: Customer service.
Location: Good location.
Will recommend to friends. Will stay again if coming back to Escondido as long as the price is reasonable.

Outside was ok surrounding area was not the best. Would not stay longer than a night bathroom was not up to standard for a hotel at all.

Beyond expectations.Posted Aug 5, 2013
Cons: Maybe the curtains? They are one layer and the blackout kind. They give lots of privacy, but at the same time I can't tell if it's morning already!
I guess since it's a 3 star hotel, I didn't expect much and especially I stayed first night in a 4 star hotel in San Diego downtown area, this hotel was thus beyond my expectations. The hotel is in convenient location; about 10-15 minutes from San Diego Safari park and only a few minutes from fast food and about 5-10 minutes from nice restaurants. Inside the room there is a big closet and drawers to store your belongings. Bathroom is pretty spacious. There is a small fridge (with freezer) and a microwave in the room. The air condition runs quiet and cold! I didn't get up by 10am for breakfast, but the front desk said there was coffee and light breakfast (maybe muffins) provided. The wi-fi was free and pretty fast and free parking (I got charged $10 for wi-fi and $40 from the 4-star hotel in downtown!).

Not great... but cheap for the location.Posted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was OK for the price. The bed was uncomfortable and my wife's back hurt the next day. The dumpster was overflowing and birds were spreading garage all over the parking lot. The free breakfast consisted over cereal and a few pastries. The room was small and very basic. It could really use a makeover. The AC was a window unit built into the wall that was very old and noisy... but the price was right for the location.

The price was rightPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was okay, but air conditioner did not work, very warm night. Everything else was okay. The cost for a one night stay in the middle of the week was reasonable.

Great bargainPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've stayed at this hotel before. It has been upgraded and looked great. Enjoyed the staff as well. Will stay again when I'm on business in that area.
