Scary!

Posted Apr 12, 2014
The hotel is currently under construction- plastic on the floors and loud work going on in the mornings. The elevator is tiny and was hard to fit our family of 4 and bags into it. Our door did not lock. We found this out AFTER leaving all of our belongings and coming back. We tried locking it and from the inside to see if that worked and it opened right up from the outside. Needless to say we did not feel safe and switched rooms. The hotel employee was great and helped out where she could.

Close to the beach nice hotel

Posted Apr 7, 2014
any issue we had they had fixed the same day. Great spacious rooms, did not feel crowded at all. Came a day early and was able to accommodate us with no problem. Defiantly rent there again.

Don't Let The Outside Fool You

Posted Mar 28, 2014
Pros: It was close to the ocean; it had new granite countertops/shower and I think new carpet; large room.
Cons: New mattresses & cleanliness.
Location: Oceanside, CA. It is located near the beach which was great, and it only took us 10 minutes to get to LEGOLAND from the hotel.
Walking into this hotel we were a little concerned as it looked more like a building that needed condemned than slept in. Upon entering our room, however, we were surprised to find that it had been newly renovated. The two queen beds were not comfortable but the room was very spacious which was nice having three kids in there that needed to burn off energy. We were unable to use the pool due to weather, but we did go look at it and it was clean. Our room, however, was not as clean as we would have liked. The sheets seemed to be fine but there was dried on, old food on the outside of the fridge and microwave and finger prints speared throughout the counter tops in the room. We went to the store and bought Clorox wipes to clean it ourselves before settling in. The carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed since the last person to occupy the room. There was a flat screen TV in our room but the sound on it didn't work well. The lobby was decorated beautifully and the breakfast room was great. The continental breakfast itself was fine. The hotel staff was nice enough but could work on their customer service a little bit. My son spilled some orange juice in the breakfast room so my husband went to tell the lady working so that she could get a mop. Instead, she acted irritated and handed him a towel so he could clean it up.

Fairly close to Legoland

Posted Mar 24, 2014
We chose this hotel because it was inexpensive and fairly close to a Legoland. The hotel was undergoing renovations. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. The only downside was our room was right by the elevator and the noise was annoying. Good place to lay your head after a day at Legoland!

An average motel, made better by a fine staff.

Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: The heater worked well. We needed it! Breakfast was the only letdown. The donuts/Danish had probably been served each day for the past week!
Cons: Give us soft donuts. Other than that, everything was fine!
Location: We just stayed the night and went on our way.
We were pleasantly surprised at the motel's outside appearance. We pre-paid so we were nervous. The room wasn't perfect but I had no intention of staying awake and looking for shortfalls. It was more than suitable for the price. We were happy and got a good night's sleep. I just remembered--It's night right now. Good night!

Not bad.

It was a place to sleep. Rooms have not been updated for awhile. Circa 1970's style.

Close to Oceanside Harbor

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Cons: Our room was recently remodeled, but they did not upgrade the bedspread. This would make a big difference in the overall appearance of the room.
We stay here often as it is a good value. Those looking for a higher end hotel, should not book here. This time we stayed at the closer end of upper units. The access door to the stairway is a small mandoor that does require a key entry. For security, it would be nice if this door required a card/key entry.

Pros: The refrigerator n a microwave...
Cons: We should get points like what the airline does (frequent flier) just to get better rates...
Location: Near the beach, my daughter likes the outlet store, carrows near by too...
